any updates?

Nothing yet, Talked to TP on Friday and they only have dates in August (will post up when I find where I wrote them) due to the speed show in july taking up most of their time. I just got back from a weekend on the Coro so haven't had a chance to do anything else yet.

do see what place also puts knock sensors on the car during the run.. i dunno which dyno i went to once and there was a turb honda and they refused to run it more than 4krpm i think due to bad knock as didnt want to ruin the engine.. i remember being impressed at the dedication to good setups..cant remember if it was TP or PP manukau

Ok Progress report time;

So far I've talked to Torque Performance and Speedsource, haven't had a chance to call GCP or Perfect power yet but so far; Price wise, $100 at both the above and I have confirmed with SpeedSource that for that you will get a power figure, AFR and printout OR (BIG SELLING POINT HERE) for $125 they would do that but also add in a 10-15min consultation with Kent on " what should be done and can be achieved to help the owner with modifications etc to best suit their needs"

Dates wise July is out due to being only a few weeks away and we still need to organise things like payments (and some of us are poor and need as much time as poss to save up) so I've asked about August and September.

TP is available on the 15th and 22nd August
Speedsource is available pretty much any weekend in those months but will have to double check with them if we decide to go with them and people want the consult with Kent due to his motorsport commitments.

I'm aiming to have touched base with GCP and Perfect power and have a Vote up for venue by Friday.

Also, anybody have a BBQ so we can maybe have a sausage sizzle or something there?

I believe TP and GCP have a free BBQ available for dyno days - so all u do is bring food and a cook.

TP also do power figure afr print out the same as Speedsource - (they both use similar software / printouts)

I would be super keen but im saving for a trip and im off work for 8 weeks with a broke finger.

My vz ss supposibliy had a power tune before i brought it and is meant to have 256kwatw not bad for headers and intake, cams and a bit of head work another tune should be good for 280+ going by other examples.

We're back in time for the 22nd date for TP but im guessing i'll be clean out of funds for it.
