3 mile road hillclimb 4th Oct
« on: August 25, 2009, 08:44:48 am »
Hi guys,

I was talking to some OSCC members about this hillclimb as it is sealed and weather or not you need a roll cage, and its looking like you wont need a cage so if you have a helmet 100% cotton overalls and and a fire extingusher you will be allowed to enter.

hope to see some subys going up the hill.

Edit: confirmed date.

Think a guy from SSE will be entering in his R33 GT-R. Used to race RX-7's there back in the day and did pretty good, but said the GT-R is quicker and better geared.

Where can you spectate from? :D

Not sure the deal with spectating, guess youd have to park at the road closure and walk to a suitable corner etc?? Should be some interesting cars there..

Raydeo, mite have a siamese downpipe available, just waiting for the new turbo to show up,

Due to a bad finacial state (4 kids and a wife who like to spend dont help) I will not be entering, but will go along to help run the event, will also be trying to scab a ride up the hill......

Ray needs one of those pipes!  Yeah should be a great event.  Shame its going to be a hill which requires a fair bit of hp.... it will be fun no matter how much you have or dont though.  I may have a spare seat for at least one run.  50 cars the and time allowed will be busy. Not sure how many runs will be achievable.

So your deff in hey Ray, your first hillclimb?  perfect one to start  on too.
