ChubSUB - New Year's Resolution

Welcome to ChubSUB, boys and girls.

This is where new year's resolutions get attempted, and guilty beer guts dealt to!

There is a small group of us that train twice a week at the gym, and this year we are looking for more recruits. It's not the lame-arse walk around amongst smelly muscly gym hoes and struggle to use the machines sh!t, this is hands-on personal training. Momentum Fitness is the name of my mother's business, and she specialises in training one-on-one and in small groups, focusing on strength, flexibility and stamina as well as the obvious weight loss.

ChubSUB is the name given to the circuit classes the group does. Different 'stations' are set up, and every few minutes you change what you do. Pretty standard stuff. It's fun though...you never know when the next muppet is going to pick up a ball and instigate a round of TOSS IT AND FALL OFF THE F**KING STEP! :D

This is the only class that also carries over as long as you like. Standard charge is $10 a class for 60 minutes, but we've been known to carry on for 2.5 hours or more - which is just fine!

So. Gimme a hoy if you want to join in the blood, sweat and tears. Guys and gals welcome, any level of fitness. Srsly, if you've never given this a shot in your life, you're in good company amongst us. :P

First post will be updated with the new leaderboard as soon as classes resume.

At this stage, classes are:
Monday, 7:40pm
Tuesday, all night
Wednesday, 6:30pm, 7:30pm
Thursday, 6:30pm, 7:30pm
Friday, all night

3+ is preferable, so let's get a bit of a turnout going ;D

I'm interested. Could use a bit more exercise and learn how to use gym gear properly.
My only question is WHERE? This is useful info for us who can't afford much gas or are coming from the other end of the village.

Competition = WIN btw  ;D makes for good motivation

There is a team coming from the Shore most nights - you may wanna car pool ;D AFAIK Dave will be making his way in at least two nights a week til he disappears south, then there's CodeMatt and his missus coming from Albany.

Good idea really. I started gyming for serious (3-5 days a week) like 2 months back and I've never felt better.

Cut the carbs too and the 'pounds' will fall off.

Sweet Dave, keen for it at some stage. Funds are a problem for me at the moment as well as other things are in the Air at the moment. I shall join ChubSub definitely by March  ;D
