  2. A few of us went and setup this evening for the Auto Spectacular show at the Edgar Centre, so I took a few potato-cam shots since there was nobody around. I'll try take the real camera with me tomorrow to get some better shots:

  3. Well after a bunch of research and parts sourcing I believe I've sorted what's required for a BG5B/C 20H manual conversion. For anyone interested you will need. Gearbag(and matching diff/shafts etc depending on the setup you're planning to run) I'll be running a TY752VBCAA box paired to an EM code 4.44 Suretrac BD/BG Manual tailshaft Pedal set, footrest Clutch master, slave & lines Clutch, flywheel etc of course Manual Starter motor Shifter assy incl interior shifter trims Transmission mount/subframe (If running twins the front & rear body mount pieces of the subframe share part numbers with single turbo but the centre section is different, unsure what changes till I have it in the flesh) 5G code manual ECU part # 2611AC581/582/583 ABS ECU, this will depend on the build date of your car Complete Dash/Main engine harness from same car as the ECU Will update once all parts have arrived to confirm everything works as it should.

  4. Toyota's hotrod gt86/tr86 laps manfeild in 1:17ish and costs $85K.. Plenty of club cars that can be built for $10-15K would be quicker.. Gt86 racing is dominated by teenagers transitioning from karting .. The cars look slow on the track but due to one make regulations they have some close battles.. Early gt86 can be bought for less than $30K but still don't excite me.. Should have come out with turbo engine and 200wkw and then they would fly..

  6. tried a gt86 and it was meh. nice chassis, but not nice enough to overcome the lack of motive urge. btw brz and gt86 have different suspension setups. the brz is softer up front, firmer at the back; gt86 is the opposite. or maybe the other way 'round. meh !
