Don't worry Subaru NZ marketing team has been notified about it, I can't say what they told me but don't worry all is good.

Thats the plan now. I still have to wait for my money to come through, and win the auction, but already have checked out prices of flights up. Also looking for some in the are to check it out. Funny I went from full on weekend track car to slightness modified car to stock and from wagon to sedan. Really liking the idea of bringing this back to showroom condition.

Not sure how I feel about a Retna with a SR20 in it being at the top of the list It's a cool car, no doubt, but I don't think it's a great "25 years of WRX" car

Ugh Don't have an xbox only ps3 waiting for the real racing sim to come out on the PS4 GT Sport once it is out I will purchase. I've had a crack at Forza series but I don't like them imho pretty colours dont make a good racing game and don't even get me started on that abomination of a game called NFS

Main thing is to make sure the cooling system, engine and gearbox are healthy. Get them checked properly including leakdown and compression. Otherwise when you blow an engine in your 2nd or 3rd event, it will quickly put you off racing! Then yes, if you plan on being competitive, don't cheap out on things like sumps or maintenance. Racing is expensive and S*** breaks quickly if you are pushing. Talk to Sam though, he has managed to keep his car running over quite a few events, I suspect he has some mechanical sympathy though. And road tyres probably helps too. But doesn't stop him being quick.

If you want to max it out, you'll need something beefy, but in saying that, it's a very pretty game even on medium-high settings. Has a cool optional feature where it adapts the graphics settings depending on the environment to give you a decent fps. I'm currently running high settings at 70-80fps at 1080p on a GTX1070. I play quite a few racing games on PC and both the Grid and Dirt series are high up there. Dirt Rally is fantastic fun.
