  4. Don't think it's actually damaged, but rather a production/design flow. Had the same carbon front bar and it looked exactly the same as yours. -------------------------------------------------------------- Scored some personalised plates for mine The price was too good to pass on, GT related too.

  5. Nz market have oil burn issues, (same motor as the USA, and a class action has been upheld against soa because of it) Jdm 2Lt have issues with piston rings, they arent up to the task. Resulting blowby carbons up the bigend bearing seats and they spin. Blowby carbon build up to the point of a 500km oil change looking like the 10,000km changes I did in my old skyline with borked rings. When my grb was rebuilt, Subaru Japan, as well as cometic and a few other major manufacturers had run out of head gaskets. World wide. Subtech had done 10 grb rebuilds in the month previous to mine letting go, and are still pretty flat out. They generally let go between 120-150k, even with an immaculate service history

  6. They are Cusco aluminium strut braces wrapped in real carbon fibre (by cusco) The front one is cosmetically damaged where the bends in the bar are (it's not bad at all) - I'm no expert but it looks like the carbon fibre could have done with another coat of resin The other (rear) is brand new and purchased for almost the same price as the damaged one

  10. Yeah it can do. A couple of other things to check are that the exhaust control valve isn't stuck either opened or closed. That the bypass control valve isn't leaking and that the intercooler valve is opening and closing. For the first and last point you could chuck it into diagnostic mode where it cycles the fans and actuators briefly and see if they move. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
