  3. Anyone interested in attending a Detailing Workshop? Would be run by OCD/United Car Care who are well known by a lot of members. Usually $75/pp for between 5-15 people and runs for 4 hours. Covers skills like: - Safe Wash Techniques & Exterior Cleansing - Clay Barring & Decontamination - Intro to Hand & Machine Polishing (Cutting, Polishing, Finishing) - Vehicle Protection (Waxes, Sealants, Coatings) - Exterior Finishing Touches Just getting an idea of interest at this stage before setting a date. 5. I cannot even fold my mirrors!!!111 But yeah I'd rather have sunroof, GPS/McIntosh/built-in hands free and crap ton of airbags everywhere. PS: I wonder if my mirrors have motors in them... there's definitely a harness and unused plug for the control switch.

  6. So had a bit of a poke around today and found both of the cam position sensors are leaking oil through the wiring connector. one was drenched and the other only squirted some out when i probed the wires. tested with a meter and the readings arnt the same as i thourght they should be. im not getting a cel even if i unplug them with the car running. was told they can work when cold and fail when they warm up. A faulty cam sensor would explain the curvey dino chart as it would fluctuate the timing without the ecu knowing it. will be replacing those and the crank sensor just for good measure as its probably not far behind. pulled out the spark plugs aswell and they are mint. hopefully the sensor is the problem fingers crossed

  10. do em all. the passengers rear sticks first because of the exhaust proximity, the others usually arent too far behind.

  12. Just the usual wheel alignment. Lifted springs don't really go high enough to cause any issues in terms of camber from what I understand. The factory trailing arms are the limiting factor in most lifts on Foresters as the higher you go, the more they pull the wheels towards the front of the car. That's why the guys with lift ktis made in Aus/the States get spacers for them. So you might notice your back wheels are closer to the front of the arch than they used to be, but in terms of camber I think you'll be fine.

  14. Sure.. If stock 4th gen unit had all the functionality I wanted i.e extended radio frequencies, connectivity (USB/Bluetooth), a screen for the rear view camera etc I certainly won't touch it. 5th gen BR9 got most of that plus McIntosh, no need to swap anything. Each to their own really.
