You should also go for a massive fück off turbo and a billet block, and heavy fück off valvesprings, Some hearty head studs, Forged bottom end, Flex fuel E85; Big power. And then make everyone angry because that's what the internet does. Internet = 5% information, 5% advice, 90% Salt Oh; on another note: My gauges arrived today! FYI: Anyone on here with a business- It is my recommendation to not use Fastway; they're a pack of useless pricks, with poor procedures!! Anyone on here who works for fastway; Tighten up your procedures! /endrant6 points

I hit this with a sledgehammer, not gently, I play a lot of softball so I can swing things pretty good. If you could move this spline with a rubber mallet I would declare you a wizard.4 points

Being with the same insurance company will help, but as said above just be careful with it under your mums name and being a nominated driver as if they (or more importantly their underwriter) find out that you are the main driver there may be issues. Sometimes having a lot of money tied up with one company doesn't always mean it will go your way in a claim. as I said sometimes the underwriters can have a say in claims and they have their own rules to go by. Also it depends on how the policy is worded with nominated drivers, I remember having to put the wife down for a nominated driver and had to say what percentage of time she drove.2 points

Had a similar knock, only occured at low speeds (or at least was noticeable then) while going over cracks or small bumps. Turned out one of the swaybar links had a fair bit of play (Cusco ffs), luckily 2as under warranty and got my 💰 back.. Check the links are nice and tight, check there's no play at sway bar bush mounts.1 point

If its movement there then its wear on the top hat, whip that nut off and stick a washer in (make sure you have weight on that corner when you do) should sort it out.1 point

Clearly his is a rev.D or above. Pre-face/facelift lips are not really interchangeable, front/rear bumpers are different.1 point

Those gauges look awesome, and ouch at that tyre... For me, not today, but this past weekend I entered another rally sprint, was great fun and got a good photo of me! until I seized the engine mid-stage on the 3rd run, so back on the trailer and back into the garage it goes1 point

Just make sure it's from the source and not a someone told someone it was OK type of situation. You need to start a garage thread 😊1 point

I think it was mentioned to point out that they probably get slightly different treatment/deals to the guy with just his car policy. @Conducks just remember that you may not be covered at the drag races even if they are on the street. May not be covered at the track as well, best to check the policy1 point

eh, it's legal and nothing wrong with what he's saying. If the cars under his mothers name and he's a registered driver, there's no issue. Didn't need to mention that there's lots of $$ with said company but oh well1 point

@Conducks Might want to be more careful with what you say on here re insurance...1 point

Try looking on prismatic powders for something similar. I have some info on this somewhere. I vaguely remember it was an odd process of both spray painting and powder coating a clear over the top. Will attempt to find Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk1 point

DYEL bruh? Shop press wins all though. Sometimes C***s are stuck; sometimes I spray things with entire cans of WD-40/CRC 5-56/INOX then leave em overnight. if that fails- find a press or jimmy something up. Drastic times call sometimes for your measures though; F*** the C***, get a new one. TBF, I did once break a hub pressing out a bearing...GG, no re.1 point

They are a much more useful tool in most cases but when a CV is seized into a hub I much prefer a copper hammer. Maybe you have the swing of a lumberjack but I can't get the same amount of force behind a rubber mallet as a copper one. Plastic hammer is sweet for 99% of uses but copper hammer is awesome for getting CVs out of hubs. Sometimes you get lucky and the CV just pops right out, then it doesn't really matter.1 point

Retain the stock ecu and get it reflashed. Massive saving and it sounds like you dont need the additional functionality of a aftermarket ecu. Anything less than a G4+ would be a backwards step too. Just get the ID injectors. Theyre good and tuners love them. If you want to save buy the ones DSRTurbo sells. Go for 1000s pretty much same money but future proofs for e85 if its readily available where you are. The blouch stuff is hit and miss. Its just a Garrett chra with blouch housings. Other option is Kinugawa or Mamba but again hit and miss. If you go blouch get the 2.5 the 1.5 is too small. Add a fmic to the list. I would use dtech or pbms over e&h based on peoples experiences and results that match $ spent rather than mods. The engine may take the power or lay down its literally just a case of throwing dice.1 point
