  1. Said "sayonara" to her PS: if you ever see a set of 18x8.5 Work Kiwami's at wreckers - don't get them, they're a toast.

  2. Had temporarily forgotten why I don't bother posting on facebook for sale posts. God some muppets are dense. Constantly repeating the same S*** without ever giving any real info on a situation that should, and probably does work if they knew what they were doing doesn't make them right. Felt sorry for the guy at first but F*** what a twat. People never want help, they just wanna keep thinking they're right and get what they think they deserve by making the most noise...

  3. Mine were the same, V7 and V11 also - in reverse only. Enquired with racebrakes.co.nz and they said it's a common issue with this type of calipers (harmonic motion). Copper grease or that spay-on CRC Brake Quiet stuff help a lot. The latter actually helped to eliminated the squealing, didn't get to test it long enough as the car got written off..

  4. Haven't decided yet to be honest. @Kiwiflyboy looked at a DIT Legacy for me in Chch and we're not overly impressed, especially if you take the asking price into consideration and features offered. I almost feel like going euro this time, you get much more bang for your buck within the price range I'm aiming for. Sorry, Subaru...

  8. For some reason, dunno why, but the only one that seems to block up is the engine end of the supply to the turbo/RH head. The VVT solenoid end just falls apart and jams the solenoid full open. Be thankful these are easy to get to. I had a Hyundai Sonata with solenoid issues a few months back, and the filter was sandwiched between the block and head!

  9. i have stock v7 sti brembos and have enquired about this previously as kinda embarassing (though out of all the noises my car makes this is probably the quietest so brakes are the least of my neighbors concern). i also have seen and heard same issue from several other v7 sti owners. low speed brake squeal is very common. i am surprised yours goes away after a bit though, mine is always kinda there at low speeds and can be somewhat embarassing, only squeals when i'm coming to a full stop at the last slow speed portions. i don't actually hear mine much any more, i think my brain has just tuned it out along with several other strange noises cars been known to make.

  10. Personally, I prefer to just let mine go flat whilst never being used, that way I save even more on fuel as the rare occasions I wanna use it it's dead so just take the van instead 👍

  11. You'll find that your battery will be around 500cca and will be like 50-60ah. That charger will be fine yo. Check other retailers also - might find it cheaper somewhere else

  12. this one here? https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/BATCTK1987/CTEK-MXS-50-12V-5AMP-NG-CHARGER-with-Temperature-C couldn't find out capacity (aH) of my battery to see if suitable but I'm guessing since normal car battery and not some super heavy duty thing it should be ok? is a Century ns60lsmf heavy duty battery for reference. haven't had it fail to start yet but it's definitely getting more difficult to start the longer i leave it especially during winter. been down this track on couple older cars and both eventually ran in to starting issues as i simply didn't drive long enough for alternator to finish doing its job. don't wanna chance any of that with this car, since when i'm in the mood to drive, i just wanna start it up and drive

  14. Or, alternatively do it right and get a tune for more power and efficiency at the same time. @gotasuby should be able to help you out with a decent tune
