  1. Will post print outs later. It was running a bit lean but after the air flow censer was cleaned it was all good. Its knocking a bit on high rpms . Turbo comes on late and runs at 18psi which he said was a bit low and makes 179kw at hubs. Could be leak or turbo stuffed. Makes me want a tune even more... Got aem fuel pump coming. Might get 3port and downpipe/decat too. +1 for Chris at prestige tuning. He is a legend. Definitly gonna use them again.

  3. Yeah. Im also glad because it was running lean and if I had not done the test, who knows how long I would have driven it like it. Everyone should do this if they buy a Subaru, Im going to from now on .

  5. If there's a BBQ I'm in ! Actually even if there isn't, still interested by the idea of an information gathering day. I read somewhere that the rear lower brace can be annoying to install as you may have to support the diff. Keen to see how easy or difficult it is to DIY.

  7. It possibly has double locking, which disables the the inner lock levers.

  8. pretty much all stock Subi turbos peak early and taper off, that early hit of torque is arguably a big factor that makes them so fun/attractive . only really when you go aftermarket tune/turbos where you see them maintain higher levels all the way through

  9. Factory maps are meant to be around 18psi and drop to 13.5 so yours is round the mark.

Yes expensive, but hey its one of my many crazy dreams you only live once, believe me ive had lots of thoughts of "maybe i should have started with an sti" but theres something about how worn out/rough/dirty the bc5 is that i love, and after having it on the track, well im just addicted now I guess, there needs to be some "racetrack anonymous" meetings lol just realised they would be "R.A" meetings hahaha ---- as for your boost easing off, id defo rekon its your ecu, with all those sensors, it knows what its doing, be surprised if its a boost leak but hey maybe, tbh 18psi sounds high for factory boost but ive never driven an sti

  11. Its factory boost controller but it looks like its easing off too much boost, maybe im wrong tho.. Damn that sounds like a nice build... and expensive

  12. Just curious, what boost controller are you using? or are you on the factory? pretty sure its normal for factory ecu to ease off the boost pressure in the high revs anyway. My td05 was its healthiest (or erm.. power creating/boost/det efficiency) at 16.9psi on my factory block,creating 187kW AFTER the tune on the g4 link. if you include the cost of work I did to it to get it ready for dyno (incl link g4 and tune) it was in the vicinity of 6-7k. So thats really good power imo considering you havnt had the full tune yet? This next lot of mods im doing is est. 10-15k, im already 10k deep, and with the new rays wheels add another 2k on that, and my heads are likely to be 3-4k, then another tune ontop of that. so already blowing the budget LOL, but that also includes my brakes, killer clutch and pretty much everything being replaced with hi-quality parts. Im really really looking forward to my next tune results

  13. He showed me on a graph where it was knocking, he didnt say much about it or why other than Subarus usually have some knock but not as much as mine, he said its not serous but to be careful... I did

  15. Don't worry that'll be beastly by the time you're done. Hub dynos will read different to rollers so long as you get your post tune dyno on same dyno you'll have a better understanding of improvements relating to what you've done since first run

  16. There's one bolt that is a proper bastard, the best tool for it is a good quality long 14mm ring spanner. The rest aren't too bad to get at with a breaker and some extensions, swivel, blah. Again, only use good quality and give them a bit of a soak in CRC a few hours beforehand; ideally the night before to let it soak in overnight (don't do it when the turbo is still hot!!!!!!!)

  17. Had those triangular bits, they're a part of a Cusco bracing kit for BLE/BPE. Afaik Outbacks have slightly different set up down there, something is a bit different just don't remember what exactly, sorry

  20. To your reply @Batbaruman I get sooooooooooooo often, I just prepare pages. So if I post a page, you hear I am advertising. I spend hours calibrating. I just don't tune. I look for the possible way to get peak performance and response out of a car, it is now taking a told on me and my family were I don't have time. Maybe this is why people just likely tune and leave such tuning for more expensive builds. But because I drive and race from time to time, I just love to feel a responsive car.   21. was about to say same @evowrx , it's a great club/forum because it's open AF and not moderated to a T. the guy clearly came to the forums to promote his services and frankly his attitude / the way he went about it left a lot to be desired. if i were still in the market for such services, i would quickly rule the company he represents out of the equation as service (before and after) is obviously quite an important aspect to a tune, especially if it's done remotely where it's unlikely to be perfect first time. @west_minist you should know you are openly representing your company and as such should come across how you would in person to your customers. i would still like to see the following topics around the type of service being promoted openly discussed for educational benefit. are you going to answer any of the questions asked of you in the thread? what are the benefits of remote tune from scratch, or is it something you only do for 'touch ups' or where personal tuner is not available. what tools do you need before you start working with a remote tuner (eg. wideband, tactrix cables, laptop etc.?). what risks does the customer take on / what are the common disclaimers ? general positives and benefits. if you wanted to speak specifically about your company or discuss software you use / give examples what makes you different from the rest, as there are many options at various price points.
