  1. That would be ok if you never had to look at the front of it, or were blind.....

  2. Sweet, sounds like the sensor is configured right then. I wonder if the turbo is at the upper limits and generating hot air. Yea all the little things should help - Ducting for core, heat shielding for pipes & CAI.

  3. I run the Hankook Ventus on the Hilux, Love them, very very good in the wet and the dry, Have not had an issue while pushing the heavy pig hard, I get bloody good milage out of them ( 60,000k) and drive them on every thing from heavy snow to loose Gravel. I rate them high

  6. yeah what effect does dialling down boost by maybe 0.5-1psi at a time have? could be interesting to make those adjustments and log IAT under WOT. just 1 extra psi on mine raised power by not much and IATs by heaps.

  7. Or get something a bit different, with the convenience of a wagon and just as quick, like a Forester STi

  9. Ah so something could be back to front?? I'm not overly confident with the relay either. I was reading through this: https://www.12voltplanet.co.uk/relay-guide.html Number 30 and 87 should be like a switch to join the two satnav wires together which makes it power on. I'm not sure what's wrong, the fundamentals make sense. I may have to buy another radio harness just in case I tapped into the wrong wires. Ughh I'd love to get this going!

  10. Did they mention what values it was set to cut at? Must have been IAT (>50c or similar) vs rpm or map? When the car is dead cold, plug the laptop in without turning the car on and see what the IAT is, should be similar to ect around 20c or so depending on ambient. I recently replaced my FMIC thinking it was doing a poor job (10c above ambient cruising and 30c above in heated driving). Turns out the sensor calibration was 10c high.

  12. Lol @boon, that's not a very good way to encourage young members of the community to take part in the forums and be involved in ClubSub. His opinion is valid and @willisnz has had the common sense to take people's suggestions with a grain of salt and make his own mind up. Yours Sincerely, Another RE003 Daily Driver
