  8. Check out my post... Front strut brace, does sweet F all but is STi and looks cool (as mentioned previously, cheap as chips so why not). Ultra Racing 21mm solid rear sway bar, generic adjustable endlinks from BNT. MASSIVE improvement, highly recommend as up-rated RSB. Ultra Racing 2 point rear lower brace, unsure of the benefit alone as all these components were installed together... Probably does something. Ultra Racing 4 point front lower 'K' brace, won't fit my model - is sitting in my garage... D2 adjustable coilovers with 32 way damping and front camber plates, biggest benefit to handling by lowering centre of gravity and reducing body roll (along with RSB). Truhart (not the best brand but they work) adjustable rear camber arms as too low and need to correct rear camber... Bridgestone Potenza RE003. Harsher ride provided by the adjustable coilovers which is my preference, all other bracing etc wouldn't sacrifice comfort in my opinion. Still the VERY BEST handling modification you can make is to purchase a good set of tyres, no point having all these upgraded components with some cheap and nastys on all four corners (god forbid they're mismatched too). The RE003 I have currently are incredible and I doubt I'll ever buy another brand/model of tyre again. I love this set up, I throw this car into corners at speeds that others would only dream of! Always holds its line and has ZERO body roll. Peace ✌🏼

  9. Sorry guys it’s a 07 Legacy Gt-B Wagon If this helps haha. So would a rear sway bar and front strut brace (out of the 3 items available) be the ideal combination? I definetly dont want want to introduce more understeer if a front sway bar may do so!! Would the rear sway bar be able to be installed at home too? I’m always keen to do things myself where I can as I have plenty of tools

  12. In my BH I have a front strutbrace (STI), rear sway bar (whiteline), underbody k-frame (cusco), rear strutbrace (Z/S). They were installed in that order (months between each one). Not sure how they will effect a BG/BP, but below is what I encountered on my BH After the front brace, noticed no (maybe a little bit) difference. When the rear sway bar was installed I noticed a huge difference. The rear was less boat-like, centred/re-balanced a lot faster and has invoked less understeer and some more tail movement. k-frame really helped with the turn in and corner stability, also reduced understeer. The rear strut tower was noticeable, firm up the rear part of the car, felt a bit less body twist (not roll) in the corners. No comfort loss, but definitely a handling change. To rank the braces I have: rear sway bar k frame rear strut front strut Someone else may argue that the order should be different, but this is what I thought. I'm not sure on front sway bars, but think that they may introduce some more understeer - happy for someone to correct me on this

  18. That's an extreme example though right? Generally speaking most of Nexen tyres on the road in NZ will be the very cheap and not great for the track variety.

  19. I’ll be there in mine, having never done a track day and spending most of the time driving like a nana I doubt i’ll be setting any rapid times so you’ve got nothing to worry about.
