  1. Finally finished getting the car in the state of maintenance and performance that I've wanted it for the past 5 months of ownership. Waiting on new rear shocks to come but other than that and some aesthetic stuff all done. Had it tuned by Dave @ TuneTechnic at the end of last week and couldn't recommend him more highly. Great guy, really knows what hes doing and spends the extra time to get the best and safest out of it. Quick little pic from yesterday after a drive out to anchor bay and across woodcocks, waiting for my friends proper photos!

  2. Hi all, I feel its time for another catch up! I don't know about all of you but with this cold weather my car has been hibernating so what better excuse to take the cover off and make BP's profits go up for the day then a ClubSub meet! Instead of going just for coffee this time I thought we could grab a bite to eat also. When & Where?? 12th August at 2.00pm Gerry's charcoal chicken 4 Keys St, Upper Hutt, 5018 Gerry's has great food for those who haven't been and have a car park out the back for the cars and plenty of seating

  4. Hi guys, thanks for the information. It sounds like it is intermittently charging in that case. Also makes sense as the battery voltage when measured with engine running and not charging was ~12.3V, so probably not low enough at that point for charging to take place. Thanks again for the help. Alister.

  6. The alternators are controlled by the ECU to reduce engine load and fuel consumption. They charge when there is an electrical load like lights or AC on, or at a (very low) preset battery voltage. There is possibly an ECU update for constant charge. I recall when the Impreza came out with variable charging we had lots of elderly customers with dead batteries because they'd drive it once a week to the shops and back, in daylight with the AC off, so the damn things would barely charge.

  11. I was still TMIC, I have one of the Zerosports splitter things but not other ducting. Your best bet for this is to talk to Tony, he had his setup sorted as.

  13. Intercooler sprayers yes, radiator sprayers no. If you can keep a car at 93 degrees while caning the crap out of it with a cheap radiator + ducting, no point in the added weight/complication of a radiator spray setup.
