  1. You're not a real Subaru owner till you leave your lights on for days on end EDIT: or till you clean you car and accidentally turn the park lights on

  2. Things are cracking on and this event is not far away, what we need is people who actually want to attend to sign up via the online store. Numbers arent looking flash at this point and many many people have voiced an intrest... c'mon people its our 21st birthday and the club has never put this much money into an events. its going to be awesome, but we need you to commit.

  3. I know the car and I know it is quick however to be completely honest with you I wouldn't touch it. The car gets handed around and is nothing but beaten on. The car had to have a lot of work done on it a couple of months ago and was all completed as a home job. In my opinion the reason it hasn't been put back on the road is because its known the work that has been completed is masking a larger issue, it has been in the process of "getting cert" for yonks. Why would anyone in the right mind not just get the car a silencer and warrant and sell for way more with that much work and proven dyno power. After I got ripped off with my car having the problems masked I wouldn't hope that on anyone.

  5. sweet thanks, thanks for clearing that up. I do know that it has been on for sale for a while and was wondering why no one has bought it.

  6. Bimmer is so much easier in this respect - the option is already there, you just need to code it. JDM versions have decoded DRLs but Euro and US have them coded and all you need to do is just to change a few parameters to activate the DRLs, can even pick how bright you want them or whether you want to have the rear lights on too. Can also choose what lights you want to act as DRL: low beams, spots, squid rings or a combination. Pretty cool and no we're not talking the latest models, I've successfully coded a 2007 E93.

  7. I wouldn't bother. Those factory integrated racks are nowhere near as universal as Prorack/Thule/Rhino - no T-slots, skinnier, fixed position. Your options for accessories like kayak/ski/board carriers will be limited.

  9. DRL's are a completely different beam pattern to either headlights or fog lights, they are designed as the name implies to be seen in daylight. There is also "rules" as to the output of them, most of the LED replacement bulbs have to much output. Read this https://www.hella.co.nz/en/technology/hella-led-safety-daylights™/ I would ONLY buy either HELLA or NARVA, if you want reliable and legal lights. EDIT also have a read of this http://www.nzta.govt.nz/resources/get-your-lights-right/get-your-lights-right.html specifically states that using foglights on clear days is illegal ( I know every one does it but still)

  15. A service history doesn't tell you anything at all about how it has been driven unfortunately. Those 160kms could be the equivalent of 80 or 320 depending on treatment. They also don't all come out of the factory equal. The question of whether or not it will blow up is best answered by lots drawn from a hat =P
