Do you want reliability or a sh1t tonne more power? They generally don't go hand in hand. There is no cheap or easy way top get an extra 100 kw out of a naturally aspirated engine. The 3.0r has plenty of torque and power (no way it has 260kw at the flywheel though)... just drive it stock for a while and enjoy it.

Hey! Headed to Wellington Easter weekend. ( Friday - Sunday ) Im keen to Meet up somewhere, Chill, Banter. Maybe go for a cruise. I don't know the area so open for suggestions. Anyone and everyone is welcome <3 Driving to Wellington from Auckland and making a stop in Napier both ways. If you want parts delivered or anything I don't mind going a lil out of my way or making a stop or two. Just, FYI. Ray hasslier in city is amazing but mainly do euros. Got them to do a Suzuki for me a couple of years ago.

Yeah, I did swap them quickly after installing my shock absorbers. I was hitting the Outback bump stops when turning quickly in roundabouts, which was annoying and destabilising the car. They were a PITA to unscrew though!

Probably high time I came out and met some people, I'll do my best to make it.

There was a track day once at ruapuna where we had a tow car session. I remember putting a VX Landcruiser up against a 4wd courier. Was a close race.... Not that we were racing of course.

Maybe we should all just tow car trailers down and give the broken Impreza's a lift home

If the WRX is legal and squared away I will be at the track. If not I will come for lunch, visit family and drop in for the track day.

I've committed to the Lunch and Karts I'll try push local people to sign up if they're keen, rather than leave it to last minute as is the typical Kiwi way.

Might be too late here but if there are people interested in the Raptor headers then I would be keen to know when you're thinking of buying and I will jump in and get a pair too. I've got NZ New Spec B 3.0R currently with rear mufflers deleted. Sounds nice to me but I would like a bit more power without going nuts and building turbo
