Solved: So I went took the car for a drive to get it hot and when it started making the noise I had a look around. I pressed my finger on the two left side coil packs and one of them was vibrating as it made the noise. Took coil off and found spark plug was loose. When changed plugs I mustn't have tightened it enough as Im always scared of over tightening. Nice easy fix. Sure easier fix than over tightening it. On my ratchet I counted 36 clicks until it goes around 360 degrees so from now on I tighten plugs around 24 clicks therefore around a 2/3 turn.

Done an oil change on the bl5 legacy and found the car had a full set of aftermarket headers lol

Gave my wheels a massive off the car clean, outside and inside. Before/after photo below doesn't quite do it justice

Started the rear view camera installation this past weekend. Wired the main video feed from the front to the rear. Tested the unit and all works well. Now need to find a way to still mount the camera and just reconnect everything

Cheers man, yeah my initial thoughts were wheel bearings both probably shagged. Didn't think it would be diff as it's from the front no noise at all on top of trans or in cabin really at all

Id suggest so, just not sure what else it would be.. its the easiest thing to change too. Getting stuck into diff bearings is no fun and its also less likely than a wheel bearing

Update. Fixed... Coil was half dead. It had high resistance and bench tested as dead. Replacement used coil fitted and problem was solved.

Is it just me or is there smoke coming from somewhere at 21-22 seconds? Sounds kind of like an exhaust leak.
