I dropped the wrx off at the mechanics for a full twin scroll conversion today... didn't quite go to plan due to the new oil pressure/temp sensor I installed not having a matching thread to the port I stuck it in, and forgot to check... the smell and clouds of smoke let me know though. Managed to turn around and get home before catching fire though.

Yeah I will.. I'm guessing it's cheaper when your heads aren't warped. Just missus van leaks water from two split hoses which I'm waiting on so I dont have to punish my HGs.

If you don’t have the downpipe done then you should choose if you want a downpipe and tune first. Once you do that the car gets a bit more bark and that maybe enough if it’s the family friendly version. If you do exhaust and then downpipe you can end up with some drone as you cant select a gear and rpm as well in the auto. Also the hatch is way worse for drone than the sedan so if you have the sedan you can likely do downpipe and exhaust and have a happy family. Hatch you’ll have an angry wife and kids wear earphones.
