  1. It’s for when you’re in full Need for Speed Underground mode and in a police chase, arrow says they’re in front? Better slow down, behind? Speed up, left? Turn right. Just gotta hope you don’t get a 5 star wanted level, that’s when s*** get cereal

  3. @iludez Do you have any pictures of your new Outback? Been a while since posting, I have managed to pick up some rims relatively cheaply and get decent tyres put on and I'm liking the blacked out look. At the moment I don't plan on going lower, although it would look great.

  8. Geez. Every time I've hit a Possum it's been dead Possum, and fine car. Must've been standing up... Was this what hitting it was like?

  9. I tried to get out of the way but best I could manage was it hitting right behind the driver front wheel. It managed to get in the gap between the wheel and the sideskirt. It almost stopped the car Sent from my SM-A530F using Tapatalk

  13. The grain structure will be no where near as precise as a reputable brand that tests their design. That's why expensive rims typically partially crack/bend at the point of impact where rip-offs often sheer complete spokes right off or worse.

  14. I don't think they would be sold in the country if they hadn't met a certain spec so for street driving and the look I think they would be fine. However there is proof online of them hitting potholes at speed and blowing to bits so would not recommend spirited driving or track use. The only other thing is Work wheels and the likes are definitely more expensive however by supporting company's such as Rota who imitate their wheels wont be doing anything good for the long standing company's. Buyers choice though! my WRX came on Rota's and they were fine while I had it but have since upgraded to genuine Work wheels.

  16. Yes but I won't be there unfortunately. Standard structure for Auckland meets is the 2nd Wednesday of every month rotating between Albany, Botany, & Westgate. @ADIKT is the area rep and usually makes the monthly meet posts on here but seems to be AFK lately.

  18. @iludez Legacy & Outback suspension is interchangeable yes. You will need to either a) cut the OB bumpstops or b) source some Legacy ones from a wrecker (I've actually seen them brand new on TM too) as even a moderate drop will cause clearance issues there... Depending on how long you want your tyres to last, I'd recommend getting some adjustable rear camber arms (upper control arms) to correct the camber as even a set of Legacy struts will set you at approx. negative 1.5 degrees. Other than that you'll be away laughing. I still miss mine, handled so bloody well with all the suspension upgrades I'd done. Goodluck!

  19. This ^^ No question the Uniden R7 is the top of the heap with a range 500m more than anything else. But the main advantage is directional capability, which I really miss having switched from a 24 year old V1 to an R3NZ. The R3 is great though and will be significantly cheaper than the R7, and thus in second place. Here's my clip on the R3:

  20. If they are anything like tsw wheels, another copy company I would avoid. I had 18s on my bl5 and hit a small pothole in the road and both wheels at the rear cracked
