  1. Here is my footage from FlatNats 2019 at Meremere. It was a quiet turn out, but we still made our own fun. Thanks to FlatNats for putting on the event. Thanks to Mattchanics for looking after our cars.

  3. /me sighs. Bloody typical LOL Replaced the power steering pump, which was still broken but wasn't the thing causing all the noise it turns out. It was the Alternator. Good lawdy lol. In any case, I'm still getting to the track this weekend. Even if it means stealing the alternator from the legacy while I'm at the track. LOL

  4. Got the Street Ultimate Elites from RSS in my car, ride is very good considering the spring rates. Damping range is pretty incredible, can crank it up to very stiff, build quality is great, much better than older Japanese Tein/Cusco coilovers Imo (if this stuff is Chinese its the good Chinese stuff). Pretty much live up to the name I suppose? On full soft they're very very close to a stock STi for comfort imo (get a bit upset by massive bumps obviously, they are a coilover). On full stiff they're very firm, too much for the road. I didn't go for the Reds because of the cost and the fact that I'm not competitively tracking the car, quite happy to be more comfortable and slightly slower/richer. I also don't plan on using a slick or full race tire on the car. Didn't get the option of the Primes through RSS.

  7. 24 or 22mm solid adjustable bars seem to be the go to for the majority of people and can be fine tuned for your driving style . Larger bars aren’t “usually” beneficial on typical road cars. If you’re getting coils i would start off with those and then work out if you want sways. Stock STI’s sways might end up being enough for you. With the adjustable sways you can dial in the under or over steer or make the car neutral. More important would be replacing your suspension components with spherical bushings if you wanted the best handling and feedback

  8. If you change to the version 3 manifold you'll have to re-wire TPS and idle control valve. If you're running a link you'd be able to get around it easily but on a factory ecu i imagine its not worth the hassle?

  9. Changed out the recirc valve for a GFB one after noticing the boost fluctuating when set at high and full throttle. Apparently an evo one fits perfectly as well and they are made to hold more boost so can do that for cheaper if you can find one second hand. Looks like it was definitely the source of the problem as it now holds boost solid all the way through the rev range. Prob now is I hit boost cut in 3rd gear. Kind of expected with the intake and exhaust done. Guessing that was masked as the old one was leaking the boost. So time to take it off to SAS and get the tune done and CAT removed.

  10. Another nice little blingy piece turned up today ready to hold an 044 fuel pump since I chickened out and didn't want a repeat of @Niran’s stock fuel supply drama’s.
