  1. yeah got a mate to help with it, now just got to hope my components fit without too much hassle
  2. Cool thanks, will give it a go tomorrow.
  3. Chur, which one would that be? middle of second pic?
  4. Trying to install my amps in this, my toyota was a peice of piss, however on this theres a ton more wires/lines etc that im not sure exactly where the best place to try get a run of gauge and a run of 8gauge power wire through from the engine bay into the cabin. Car is a 2000 wrx sti, has anyone got a photo they can show me of where they ran the cable? I can see one or two places i might be able to do it, but with a quick push the cable didnt seem to go far, so if someone can help and save me spending hours looking it would be appreciated. thanks.
  5. Right, where i read you could do it with engine and jacking engine up a bit I thought they meant with an engine hoist? If i can do it witha normal jack/tool etc then thats sweet.
  6. I have been told to get one of those PBMS baffled sump things for HD, although I also got told if i double apex the sweeper i should be ok. Im probably looking at doing taupo first then HD at a later date, but will keep it in mind. I see the sump is ~250$, is there much of a labour cost to get them installed?
  7. Cool, thanks. I guess i can do that for now and if i have any problems upgrade to slotted discs etc later on. I just didnt want to turn up and find I get brake fade by lunch like I had the first time i took my toyota to taupo, and i assume ill be hitting speeds quite a bit quicker than my 4age trueno on the main straight.
  8. Ok I just bought this car which as far as I understand comes with 4pot front brakes, single pot rears. If i chuck some decent fluid in it and something like Bendix ultimates/those ferrodo ds2500 or whatever they are pads will this be good enough for mainly weekend spirited driving, and 3-4 trackdays a year, either taupo or hamptons. Stock power levels for now, and probably wont be changing much there for quite a while apart from a full turbo back exhaust, more focussing on handling. Is it worth upgrading the rears to the twin pots if possible? or will the rotors i have been fine with better fluid/pads? thanks in advance. Nice to be back in a suby again, my old CS account seems to have either gone missing or lost to an old email address.
