i had a very similar problem in my version 2 wrx. and it was the coils. had to replace all 4.

ah k cheers, also was very close to empty and filled it up. only managed to fit 35 litres into the tank, but i read that the 93 wrx\'s had a 60 litre tank?

Hey, Just curious ( pretty sure i know the answer ) but do 1993 wrx gc8\'s have a low fuel light? owned the car for a while now and it never comes on. just thinking maybe the bulb is blown? or it doesnt have a fuel light ( but im sure it would Cheers

Best way to make a nice sounding wrx gc8 with keeping or increasing performance, just looking to get the nice sound without comprimising performance. was thinking of removing cat and doing straight through piping ( 2.5" or 3 " ) with 2 resonators ( no muffler ) Cheers

yeah ive tried o2 sensor as well. funny thing was a while ago when i changed my air flow meter to a second hand one. it fixed the idling problem for about 2 weeks. but wouldnt boost at all for the first couple days. its been a nightmare lol. Does yours do it every day? or only some days?

no fault codes when it misses, 2 days ago i had 22 fault code ( knock sensor ) hasnt come back since though.

No pod filter, the issue m having is rough idle, every few seconds sounds like its missing. and also when i get into boost. sometimes it comes in and out of power. boost gauge doesnt fluctuate or anything, neither do the rpms. just feels like its not injecting the right amount of fuel at times. the cars still driveable just rather anoying. also, are gc8 wrx\'s meant to sound quite rough/loud during the rev range? just seems to have quite a un healthy engine noise. Green, ive purchased a couple second hand ones and each one seems to have its own little fault. just trying to convince my self to spend the $600 lol. even a after market one from road and track is $400 ( any one tried theres? ) comes with a 12 month warranty Matt
