  1. Awesome, cheers. I\'ll be in touch when I get a chance to head up those ways and hopefully we can sort something out.
  2. Yep, I had it reflashed just recently, I know very little about it all. (Trying to learn, struggling though... I think it\'s def a different type of clever to know an engine) I was just wondering, are their more gains to be had with a link over the stock or is it all in the tuning.
  3. If I come up to chch in the future can you have a look at the tune and if needs be retune my v7 sti wagon? It has been recently done by a friends friend but would be nice to get a more experienced perspective on what changes can/should be made to up performance. Has quite a few mods and would like to get more raaapsh out of it. Ha it\'s the stock ecu. Would it be worth getting a link or is stock fine. Cheers
  4. I just recently had a AEM Water/Methanol kit installed by my mechanic into V7 sti Wagon. Heres some pics of how he installed it. Well maybe not. If someone lets me know how to add images i\'ll add later.
  5. Na, no dyno sheets, was tuned by my mechanics brother on the road. Would def like to get it on a dyno at some stage when I\'m in a region that has one.
  6. To let you all know, few weeks ago I got my car sussed. Walbro fuel pump, aem tru boost, aem water meth kit, and tune. Going well, big difference from what it was. Can\'t help but want more out of it though... Thanks for the advice
  7. Anyone know where I can buy a pillar mount or any other tidy mount for a boost gauge. V7 sti 2001. Cheers
  8. So after talking to my mechanic he is going to do the following... Walbro fuel pump Boost controller boost gauge. Water/methanol spray. Tune. Looking forward to it. Thanks for your help.
  9. Yeah it certified for the adjusties, unsure about the waste gate. Should it be certified for this? No my pod filter is just where the airflow meter would have been by the looks of it. I\'ll def get that plumbed down to guard duct. Cheers for the info
  10. Cool, thanks for the info. I\'ll spend around 2g maybe more...on the extras and tuning. Tuning I have been told around $500 , walbro fuel pump $180ish There is a range of Frount mounts, what is a good brand that will fit the bill? Gfb boost controller? Anything else that would be ideal I\'ve missed? What can I expect for mechanical time?ive got a couple of friend mechanics but if they arent keen to do it what would be a rough cost? Thanks in advance.
  11. Hi all, I\'m looking for advice as to things i should do prior to getting my v7 STI remapped. I recently purchased and down here in Queensntown we dont have 98 petrol. So i plan to take it to dunedin or CHCH for remap as alot of people on this forum have highly recommeded. Currently my 2001 V7 Wagon has the following mods. -Full aftermarket exhaust including downpipe -Alliminium Radiator -Pod Filter -Adjustable suspension -GFB manual boost control -external wastegate -Heavy duty cluthch -BOV Can anyone give me any other small mods that should be made pror to tune to get better performance results? 500HP Fuel pump?? Thanks in advance,
  12. Thanks for that info! awesme. I have been in touch with possumborne auto i think they are in CHCH i would be happy to travel if there is a better tuner further out...? Is Apet a good reputable company or are there some better outside of my region? Cheers
