  1. Just received this package in the mail Thanks Club Sub! Also a sneak peek at what else arrived today See more in my Outback garage thread.. link to thread to come
  2. Thanks, that's the next best thing thing! Will have a look.
  3. Mine close when you hit the button, but don't extend until you start the car, which annoying
  4. I have exactly the same set up in my Outback. I brought it with all the LEDs already installed. So much brighter and crisper light
  5. You're the 3rd person to say that today. Pity it's towards the bike and not me 😂
  6. Used the wagon to pick up this bad boy Unfortunately the play/race car fund has taken a financial hit.
  7. Give @D1Style a pm about those sort of parts. Got a good deal through him for my inner CV boot. Way less than dealer price. Also I have a spare inner one at home I could post as I don't need it. It's 95mm off the top of my head.
  8. Do you still have standard rims? No clearance issues? Also both brakes and tyres are much better then on the old one.
  9. Don't have the money for it.......now. But at this point I will enjoy the smoothness of the six, and decide between a cheap turbo project or supercharger at a much later date. Odds on getting cheap project car before supercharger 😁
  10. The new stead Will post interior photos later 2007 3.0 Outback Push button start, some sort of nav/entertainment system I need to figure out or replace later. Loving the smoothness of the engine, si drive as well. Also has reversing camera. Will start a thread on it, but for the he next year she is going to stay stock. Make way for the 'Silver Surfer/shadow'
  11. Sweet that's awesome. Was going to sort ordering out some stickers for the new ride!
  12. How I haven't given it any real Maintenance for the last two years and still goes. I have to admit it hasn't had an oil change since I had it, only topped up with oil when low!!!!!!!🤔🤔🤔🤔😃😮 Yes with this car I am one of those people. (The wifes car on the other hand is a different story)
  13. I had it on the rs ra and was good for warming up, as it had a little piston slap at cold that disappeared within a few minutes, so would start the car and by the time I'd locked up the house it was nice and quiet and the oil pressure was good. Due to its age I liked to make sure she wasnt heading out the hate stone cold. As for leaving in gear and the remote starter I'm not sure as I was always paranoid about leaving it in gear, and always had it drilled into me to leave it out of gear unless on a hill. You could wire up a micro switch to disable it when in gear. I also loved to hear it rumble to life just before leaving the office.
  14. Not really sure, but Ive read a few posts and threads and how to's and they all mention it. Might not be relevant anymore? can't hurt either way, unless your sitting in the car on a really hot day with the doors closed and window up.
  15. What's the process you are you using? There is a step by step instructions online that mentions about having the heater on to help clear air pockets. It can take a while to get to done fully
  16. Will be keeping an eye on this at the pub while celebrating the wifes birthday
  17. Not hard, but takes time and a little patience. I found a good trick is to put a small blob of blue tack at the end of the spark plug socket if you dont have a good quality one as it helps grip the plug and saves a lot of swearing and time. Easier than a V6 Mondeo rear bank plug.
  18. I've been driving the wife's car for the past couple of weeks as we are only using one car and it's cheaper to run around town. Took the Outback to Amberly today to drop one of my boys of to his granddad's and on the way back I had a little bit of fun off roading. Unfortunately I caught the under tray by the left wheel on something without realizing it, it only became an issue about 1km from home. It now has a large hole where it dropped on to the Tyre. Then while picking my other boy up tonight I managed to get a stone caught in the LHS front brake. Luckily I was able to remove it. Still was worth it for the off road fun. Now I just need to lift it to avoid these situations.
  19. Hahaha, love the sales pitch But seriously, this would be a good set up, and easier to go bigger turbo easier, as I bet once you get used to the power you will want to go bigger, as always happens
  20. I don't know about these, but if from PBMS, I would definitely trust them, plus they are local so if you do haave an issue its easy to get hold of them. Sounds like a good turbo upgrade, but what sort of price difference is there between the PBMS TD05 and a Kinugawa one?
  21. Hey @Outback Ash. Sorry for taking so long to get back to you. I haven't done anything except tighten the belt. It's still not right but now only whines. Have been meaning to have a proper look but not on high priority at the he moment. It still works fine but will replace at some point soon. A replacement second hand one from Strong's was about $350 from memory.
