I have heard of people upgrading theres to get more airflow am i way wrong here.
Car goes good just want to be able to leave it boosting around 13-14 it will only hit standard 12.
Also the maf i have now is the same as my old bh5 legacy??

Wondering if i can run a purple maf in my 99 gf8.
Im running a 4 pin blue label i think at the moment somebody told me i can put purple in to get more hall arse out of it any ideas any1 not keen to blow my engine for a couple extra psi.
Note engine is fully stock has yellow injectors td04 turbo so pretty much standard as they come any help would be great
Got ya that makes sense i changed the knock myself and as u can tell im a noob when it comes to engines should i hit up a mechanic to quickly look at knock sensor??just want it healthy as its my daily and i need it to last and lets be fair putting the foot down with boost kicking in is addictive i will try the solinoid tomorrow after work and see how we go thanks marky appreciate it

I just changed my blow off valve car went how it should held 14 psi went got a feed jumped back in the car now it wont go past 7 boost solinoid u reakon it went better when it had a boost leak
