Seeking information please. Which pin is used to start intercooler spray pump on 1994 GC8?
I have checked this post for the pin, However it does not seem to be listed. Is it pin 9 Plug B127 AC cut? .
Is this the pin that is used would anyone know?? Thanks
You could fit a WAIC. After all, The cooler the air the higher the Hp, Duration of required high Hp is the real consideration. This must also be calculated against heat transfer efficiency and recovery period duration as well obviously.
20- 30 seconds of WOT and sustained 270+ Kw will sure as get you Mooovin!!(In any gear!)
WOW! That makes a well designed WAIC look incredibly cheap to buy/install and far more functional too!
Best way to intercool? ...Water!
Let another discussion begin! Lol.
Oem breather system or evacuated catch can system is the only way to ensure condensation at low levels in the crankcase. Or stop burning hydrocarbon based fuels. LOL.
Crankcase pressure must be below atmospheric pressure to maintain low moisture levels. Its the only way!
Yes there is a "collar" under the rectangular cover a 10 mm fitted bolt (don't drop it inside the box!) locates the selection lever to the rod. Must be removed to allow housing to come away.
Damn site easier to remove the whole gearbox to do this though. Good luck doing it underneath the vehicle.
Isle of man tackled by a top driver in just an ordinary abfab car! Awesome. As usual http://www.stuff.co.nz/motoring/videos/10126559/Subaru-WRX-smashes-Isle-of-Man-record
No its a miss match of the front crossover pipe and the up pipe. Early up and recent(late 90's) crossover.
Oh oops not up pipe and cross over issue.
Deck height differenes would/should not cause this.
However "stretching" a wee bit to make the crossover pipe fit is not a problem.
Treat it as a pull up cold clearance.
Definitely some lowlifes around. Had my 91 with 420,000 on the clock broken into twice in last 6 months. No battery first attempt. Interior alarm scared them off second attempt.
Two ignition barrels a one window destroyed.
Did you get it back lachlan?
Does the fuel pressure increase with boost coming on at all? It should do.. I understand the decrease under throttle off.
Must say that these TT units can be a pain in the rectum to sort out at times though.
There are some here who know them exceptionally well. Im surprised that one of them has not chimed in with a "how too" as yet.
Ah Ha... Now I see!!...Your fuel pressure should increase as boost comes on not decrease.
So its either a broken vac line to the fuel reg or a faulty fuel reg.
