  1. Yup all good @ginganinja - just compiling a full list before sending to James for pricing
  2. @Andy_Mac how'd you get on man? Have @RaKid and @ginganinja s lists so far
  3. do you mean the oil pickup @Gripless ?
  4. No one else interested? Will wait a few more days. Otherwise will be just me and @Gripless ordering
  5. What time frame works for you? Could always ask James if you could pay when they arrive maybe.
  6. @SpeedySub probably 2-3 weeks man
  7. You can never have enough RCM parts @Andy_Mac ;)
  8. Hey guys. Potentially organising a group buy for RCM (Roger Clark Motorsport) parts through James Marshall Motorsport. The more people we get, the sharper the pricing will likely be. RCM make some amazing parts and are probably one of the best Subaru builders in the world. Check out their website for more deets. I'll be ordering - RCM twin scroll headers and fitting kit - RCM baffled sump - RCM high grip cambelt tensioner PM me what you'd like and I'll start collating a list to get us pricing.
  9. Yeah looks like complete driver error there. Turned too sharp too late, understeer. Pretty harsh sentence though! Jeepers
  10. A kind gentleman gave me his v7 OEM pump and fuel sock for free yesterday! Had done 230k kms, but really had no other choice so chucked it in. So basically removed the intank fuel pump assembly twice in two days. Such a crappy job on a GDB! Here's to hoping i never have to do one again lol. Also.. drove a supercharged RS4 B7 today... HOLY DAM! Basically as fast as my v11s peak torque but instantaneous and everywhere. Freaking insane lol
  11. Interesting read: https://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2251397 Seems like killer b is the way to go? At the two track days I've had so far, the problem i've had is oil pooling into the heads and overflowing out of the AOS. So the baffles in the current sump are probably insufficient and getting a more restrictive baffle plate up top won't help either as the oil won't be able to get back into the sump easily? The moroso one looks good, but based on those data logs, probably will still have issues. Dry sump systems are hella expensive man. Really for a full track car setup which this kinda is not. Would love to though!
  12. Has anyone got a factory GDB STI fuel sock lying around in Auckland? Need to replace my ripped one kinda urgently
  13. Hey team. Keen for a robust discussion on the topic of baffled sumps. The way I see it, the listed baffled sumps are the go to options. I haven't seen any back to back testing on each, but people seem to froth over Killer B sumps. Had an engine builder tell me recently that they actually are pretty average and really are just a lot of hype. Being cast as well, the chances of catastrophic failure if there is an impact are high. But like with everything, everyone has a different opinion! Here are the three sumps for your reading pleasure: The Killer B combo: https://www.killerbmotorsport.net/3-piece-pan-pickup-baffle.html.html The RCM combo: https://rogerclarkmotorsport.co.uk/store/product/32-rcm-group-n-baffled-oil-sump-pan https://rogerclarkmotorsport.co.uk/store/product/21-rcm-oil-sump-pan-baffle-plate PBMS: https://www.possumbournemotorsport.com/pbms-baffled-sump/ PBMS also have a stage two option which i need to learn more about. At the surface the RCM one looks to have the most baffling of the lot. But the killer b one is deeper (lower centre of gravity) and has a larger capacity. What do you guys reckon?
  14. @A_J_T would be amazing if you could put me in touch with him as i have many questions haha
  15. @A_J_T oh wow - did your cousin own this car before? I need to figure out how to remove it haha. Hoping its not glued on as well as bolts.
  16. Not my cup of tea aye. Already sold it 😮 plus a free blue OEM wing
  17. Sooooo bought another project car for a heck of a deal. She's been a very tidy car in the past (if you know the previous owner). But now needs some serious TLC. She'll serve me well while the 450kw build happens Not sure about the wing haha. Might swap it for a standard one. They are worth a bit of coin though!
  18. I'd say Race Shock Specialists were trying to offload some old stock maybe.. Those are some insane spring rates lol
  19. 18x9.5 is fine this chassis. A bit too wide for drag maybe but certainly good for track. With the Michelin ps4 range, its pretty hard to make the car slide lol. So much grip its insane. Very confidence inspiring! Ps, i do have a set for sale 😉
  20. Highly support that recommendation @Andy_Mac Seriously though, I have a fully built 2.5L block for sale that would drop in. Let me know if you're interested.
  21. Look at them goodies! Haha just need someone to buy my dam block!!
  22. Had a chat with RSS who get the MCA shocks in for us in NZ. He reckons they are a bit adverse to sway bars because it makes it harder for them to calculate the right spring rates for the application. Either way, the best approach for applying sway bars is getting the shocks first and then adding stiffness as fit. So should be fine. Options are: Race Primes: $2350 Street Ultimates: $2750 Race Reds: $2900 Keen to see what you guys think
