  1. Im am trying to track down an ecu wiring diagram for a 2001 b4 be5 legacy. also an engine wiring diagram and pin layout for the OBD 2 port please. any help/assistance would be much appreciated
  2. So to save me the hassle of pulley my shocks out to check, are early wrx v1-6 d2 adjusties compatible with v7? Do they fit? Same top hats, bottom hub bolts etc....

  8. ultimately the decision is obviously yours man, u need to ask yourself what you want out of your car!! do u want to be thrown back in the seat or do you wnat to be able to flick threw the gears quickly? Each of the turbos has its pros and cons as im sure others will agree. Everybody seems to talk about h.p (what we love to call the wank factor) Ok h.p is obviously important for bragging rights, but what about how much torque the car puts out?? thats what throws you back in the seat and holds you there, ask yourself what you will use the car for and do your research into what turbo is going to provide you with the needs to achieve your goals, remember hp isnt everything!!
  9. So ive just finished doing the headgaskets on a 2000 bug eye wrx and put everything back the same way that it came off the car, it was boosting to 16psi before I done the headgaskets and now it will only boost to 8psi? any ideas???

    on that note, if i run with my ej257, can i lower the compression threw low comp forged pistons or do i still havto mill the heads out? my heads are V4 sti solid lifter?? I have been told that if i dont mill the heads then the ccompression will be too high and ill be unable to get decent boost out of it?

    thanks to all for ur help, i think im going to go with a ej257 CDB, ive been to the 400hp bracket on a 2.0 so next step for me will be the 257, was just wondering if it is possible to mix and match ej blocks without going all out. Why are these engines so demanding to get decent hp out of haha Thanks again.
  13. So ive just recently blown apart my ej25 and am wondering if anybody knows if i put my 2.5 crank and rods into a closed deck 2.0 block running 2.0 forged pistons, will it be stroked or will it just still be a 2.0????
  14. ive just done the same thing mate, and mines runs really well! i used a closed deck rs short block, with the original forester heads, same boost, same inlet manifold and same injectors.... have u used a twin turbo block or single?
