  1. Anyone used Clutch Pro before? cheers Genuine subaru clutch was $850 from Wingers
  2. That's not bad. I'm located in Nelson and I've found a mechanic who used to work at Subaru so i'm going to ask him to do it. Just trying to figure out if I can source a good clutch for a better price. Probably use the current flywheel after skimming though
  3. For either genuine or exedy clutch, how much should I put aside just for the parts? I'm not planning on over powering my subie but won't be driving like a nana so standard clutch would do for me (goodbye heavy duty)
  4. I met a guy in Nelson who used to work in Subaru and many people go to him for few jobs. I'm planning to get a clutch job done from him so I'll let you know how it goes? Also gotta ask if he wants his details on here cuz he seemed to be flatout at the moment tbh..
  5. Thanks Dazz01. Clutch job labour doesn't come cheap so I'm trying to weigh out whats the best clutch to put in there. Cheers for the input but the one that he is selling on Trademe is not I quote "fantastic"?
  6. thanks for that reply. I'll ask Drew for a genuine one. Would you know how much wingers would charge for a genuine clutch for Version 8?
  7. Hi, i'm a newbie to Subaru... planning to buy a WRX Turbo Version 8 within 2 weeks. Just wondering what clutch it takes? is it 225mm or 230mm? Trying to decide between these two: http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/subaru/clutches/auction-1164594537.htm http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/subaru/clutches/auction-1161308691.htm Cheers NOTURS
