  5. Use trademe courier, you can book on there without having to sell anything. I've been using it for yonks and it genuinely is so much cheaper Sent from my STK-L22 using Tapatalk
  6. Sweet as I didn't want to come pick it up and all I can see is yellow foam lol. Sent from my STK-L22 using Tapatalk
  7. Mines pretty bad on the left and was wondering do they just remove it and chuck it straight back in? Can't imagine it'd come out without falling apart. Sent from my STK-L22 using Tapatalk
  8. What's the go with cracked dashes and getting the airbag replaced? Sent from my STK-L22 using Tapatalk
  9. Finished the grille today. Sent from my STK-L22 using Tapatalk
  10. And some dynos tend to read a bit higher? Especially at say a track day it can vary quite a bit? Still pretty happy with its performance at the moment certainly don't need anymore power yet Sent from my STK-L22 using Tapatalk
  11. Just got a reply back from original owner, managed to track him down through a mutual friend. "hey dude, benji was having a laugh with 310 at the wheels. We took it down south and did one of the track/dyno days. Pushed boost up to 16.5 peak power and got 186kw, fuel cuts came in hard past 17. Chuck some pinks in and get returned be away laughing. Enjoy, brett" Sent from my STK-L22 using Tapatalk
  12. 16.5 was what my boost gauge read at max, certainly feels far quicker then the bl5 I had. I would probably put that down to exhaust and intake really. It would have needed a tune after the downpipe though? Trying to track down who tuned it but no luck so far. Sadly no tactrix cable but I really should invest in one. The last owner did say he thought the dyno reading was really high, don't these push out like 170ish kW with exhaust and downpipe? Getting to 310 would be what bigger turbo, injectors, fuel pump etc? 13. I haven't confirmed that yet, I am dubious on the numbers if I'm completely honest. It's probably a case of higher bragging numbers. I do however know its at 16.5 psi and has a very good pull. But without seeing the sheet it's pretty much hard to say if its legit. Exhaust is pretty damn savage though. Sent from my STK-L22 using Tapatalk
  14. Pretty unhappy with how the tints came out. I should have just done them myself, they don't even match and are nowhere as close as I asked for. Tail light tints came up good though. Been working my way around the wagon touching it up. She's such a cool beast I'm stoked with it. Tuned at 310whp, 3" exhaust with subtech downpipe, fgk tips, has a sweet sounding intake too. Next is to do the grille, paint the silver rails on roof, black out rear trim and find a mid boot spoiler.
  15. New wheels are on, 18x8.5s. Will be painting them matte black. Have car booked in tomorrow for front 3m tint, and taillights getting a light tint. Blacking out basically everything. Will be making up a custom mesh front grille when I get time.
  16. Having owned a few of both. I'd go for the BP, I have a soft spot for the looks of a bh but that's about it everything else is just better.
  17. Go for the 3.0r more robust engine.
  18. Back into a subie. Just picked it up today. 03 spec b, 5 speed with short shifter. Been tuned and has a few goodies onto it. Have new wheels for it on there way also
  19. Gave it a wax. Came up real nice Need to sort that paint damage at rear wheel though
  20. Wheels never showed up But have put new lip on it at least.
  21. Sti pinks came in today, and I put them in this afternoon. What a mission that was, bloody nut was seized on. But it looks good I'll grab some pics with new wheels on if they turn up
  22. Front tints done and wheels repainted. Looks much sharper now. Can't wait for the sti pinks to go in! Would like an exhaust too
  23. It's been a few months since I'd owned anything Subaru. Bought my wife an outlander and got rid of her convertible so that freed up driveway space and some funds. This bh5 popped up local to me and I absolutely had to have it. She's nothing special besides the color but it's a solid Rev. D Not manual but I'm completely OK with that. When I got it a few days ago it was in really rough shape so I gave it a full wax and polish up. Cleaned all the seats and vaccumed all the grot out. I've just bought some sti pinks to go in, and have some new wheels lined up.
  24. s*** that's cool. More pics?
