Hey guys, just wondering if anyone here has seen or knows anything about this car? Maybe a mate of yours? or previously owned by a member? Looking at purchasing, but he does not have invoices for the forged pistons and rods he says it has. same thing was happening to my car. turned out to be MAP sensor.

problems solved. needed spring and map sensor was fried. cheers guys

The spring.... lol there was no spring their from memory. I was wondering what the little hole on top of the fork was for. where on the slave does the spring attach to? and what sort of spring will i need?

Hey all so after a few days of swearing and hurting myself, me and a couple of mates managed to change out my very worn out clutch on my v7 sti. Everything is all back together now. Problems: Clutch is sticky. the end does not come back up fully without some help. Tried looking at the pedal for adjustment screw but it seems to be different to my previous gc8. Drives fine though. could this be slave cylinder is due for a replacement? I already bled the system. second problem is the car has trouble starting. It cranks and cranks and cranks but just wont fire up. Maybe after about attempt number 9 or 10 i manage to get it running. Also there is a check engine light on. I\'m pretty sure i connected all the plugs and grounds. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Hey all so i recently installed a gfb mbc to try control the spiking i was getting to 21psi with the factory solenoid. I\'m 100% sure that i\'ve installed it correctly but now it doesn\'t seem to want to run more than 15psi and this is with the screw all the way out (16psi on cold nights) I\'m trying to set it to 18-19psi but the bloody thing wont go any higher. I\'ve taken it off and blown through the holes blocking each side at a time and it seems to be fine. Pretty sure it\'s not the controller itself as i tried one of those cheapo taps but that things even worse as it free boosts up to 30psi with the dial screwed all the way in or out. Anyone have any ideas? I need to get this sorted before i go for a tune. Cheers

Ninja 8 how far down does the pod sit? this might actually be perfect cause i have the apexi filter sitting in my car and the afm adaptor is on its way to me. Can i come check it out?

Yeah I\'ve been reading a lot and everyone says the stock setup is great etc etc but imo a sectioned off pod setup with a cold air feed will be better. It also sounds cool . Not to keen to have the pod down by the bumper or guard due to water reasons. looking to make something like the K&N ones.

Has anyone made a custom cold airbox for their pod/intake setup on a v7 sti? would love to see some pics so i have an idea on where to start for mine. Am going to be removing all the factory stuff including reso etc and running either pvc or that flexi stuff from the bumper to the engine bay.

Had a search but couldn\'t find a solid answer. Judging by the look of them, looks like they will fit as long as i change the rear top hats?? can someone please confirm this for me? Thanks in advance

Hey guys. Need a brake overhaul soon. Going to be replacing all four discs and pads all round. Not sure what the current pads are but they are real crap. The car is daily driven but i\'m kind of heavy footed lol so would like the stopping power when needed. Not after a performance pad but something with a bit of bite which doesn\'t produce too much dust or noise. I was thinking OEM or Bendix. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance
