  1. Are you looking for any (particular) cars for the calendar?
  2. @lachlan I'll take you up on the intercooler, VF23 and ECU(s) depending on price. @ginganinja is selling a HKS hi-power catback and I can vouch for these exhausts. Really, really nice. You may have trouble finding a downpipe as most of the ones available suit a GD chassiss. (They are single scroll and mount to the gear box, but they are slightly longer in overall length and make it a pain to fit to a GC catback). NZKW do the black silicon intakes. Don't know about the turbos - I sourced a brand new VF for $1,000. If you have the money, you should be able to pick up a VF between 1-2k or an aftermarket one that will fit the factory location in the same price range.
  3. @Serchn I sourced mine from RHD Japan. I got nailed with freight and import duty, but it was still about half the price compared to Subaru NZ and a fraction of the wait time as it was air freighted compared to sea freighted. I purchased genuine STI kit
  4. Sounds like a mechanical issue. Is the accelerator cable free of everything and in exactly the right place?
  5. Genuine timing kits and engine seals are usually only marginally more expensive than aftermarket. I'd recommend pricing up both. There's a TradeMe user called ejparts that has sourced me genuine parts for less than the dealer prices.
  6. Nice. Well done. I've gone to court for WAY less - it's the principal not the money I care about more.
  7. My friend has a shop in Glenfield and he's usually pretty competitive if you want to check him out. VIP Wheel & Tyre
  8. I ordered gc8 braided line set when putting brembos in my gc8 and they worked perfectly fine.
  9. None that I've heard of and I wouldn't really recommend it anyway but I'm not a mechanic. It will chew through a little more fuel than normal.
  10. I use an Endless 0 degree pad so I can run it on the street and track. I also use an Endless brake fluid. https://www.prosportauto.co.nz/ is where I get my stuff from. I think the combination works really well for my use case.
  11. Nah but that's irrelevant (to me at least). An email with the tribunal ruling is all you really need to do. Then supply your bank account number and watch the money trickle in (simplified summary :D)
  12. Once I get court rulings I just send all my s***e to a debt collector and let them deal with it. The firm I use only charges me if they collect so I don't have to worry about it.
  13. I'm interested in one of these RCM3039
  14. @MichaelJS what colour injectors and AFM does your car currently have?
  15. Please confirm - did you swap an STI ecu into a non-STI? If yes, you need to change AFM and injectors as well at a minimum. You should also swap your turbo to the appropriately matched STI variant (likely a vf28) and run an STI intercooler. You also need to make sure that the ECU you've swapped from was mapped for the same compression ratio as what you're swapping into as there are differences between some WRX and STI builds/years. E.g. some WRX were 9.0:1 yet the STI variant was 8.0:1 (or 8.5:1 - can't remember exact numbers but the point stands). Someone else will be able to elaborate on this more than I can
  16. Yes - awesome. Best value for money and decent core size.
  17. This is far more efficient - great idea
  18. Hmm, OK cheers! So I think what should happen here is @Andy_Mac should purchase both the S257 and the EFR 7670 and back to back test them for us. Then we can figure out how many $ per reduced RPM spool time the EFR is worth 🤣
  19. On the Full Race site they list the S257 as same wheels as the EFR "57mm Forged-Milled EFR7670 compressor wheel, optimized aerodynamics" and "Inconel 70mm turbine wheel, same blade shape as EFR7670" but then the EFR7670 says "BW utilizes their 70mm Gamma-Ti turbine wheel" so I don't know if they are different or the same? Don't mean to hijack your thread @Andy_Mac 😅
  20. Nice man - I ordered same bits and skipped the bolts and washers at that price haha. I have same sump too and it just came with the cork gasket - I'm sure they'd make you one up.
  21. Haha nice one! I think PBMS do a cork sump gasket - I haven't had mine leak yet so that could be a go. Genuine gaskets are similar price I believe but the bolts and bolt washers are hugely expensive.
  22. Such good value R&D plus the BOV, BCS and IWG - but more than double the price 😅 Could run a secondary oil cooler just for the turbo maybe?
