  1. Just thought I'd close this one off - it was the engine check light as funkytown said. One new air/fuel ratio sensor later, we're all good
  2. Hi all, I left my BH5 at Auckland airport for 7 days while we were on holiday. When I got back in to it today the orange warning light on the right hand side of the dash, in the same group as the oil and water warning lights, came on. This is my first Legacy and I haven't seen this symbol before. Any idea what it is, should I be worried and is the car driveable tomorrow or should it go in to the garage or dealer? Cheers in advance.
  3. Thanks, I'll give some of these places a shout and get quotes. I've already got a quote from Rapid Radio and they're charging $60 per hour + GST which I thought was pretty good. They also said that a 2 channel amp, head unit and 2 front speakers could take 4 hours which seemed a lot to me?
  4. Awesome, thanks fellas. Any other recommendations for around the $180 - $200 mark gratefully received!
  5. Hey guys, I can't seem to get a definitive answer on this. Will these component speakers fit in a 2002 Legacy GTB? Does anyone have these or similarly sized speakers? You can probably tell from this and my other post that I'm kind of a noob about all this :-[
  6. Great, there's a Rapid Radio just over in Newton so that's really handy. Thanks!
  7. Hey guys, I'm looking to have some Pioneer kit installed in the GTB (Pioneer DEH4350UB head, GM3300T amp and TS-D1602R speaker if you care). No idea where to go to get this installed and am looking for suggestions. Do I need to supply my own RCA cables and single DIN pocket or will they do this for me? Any help is appreciated.
  8. Yup, you'll be fine with 16s. My JDM 2002 BH5 came with 16s on it - I guess the previous owner kept or sold the 17s.
  9. Ah, thanks man. No, I have the tyres so that's where the question came from. Thanks, appreciate the help
  10. Hey guys. Sorry for the noob question but will 16x6.5 (size), 5x100 (pattern) alloys fit on my 2002 Legacy wagon? I know the factory is 17" by default but she was on 16" when I bought her so I've now got the tyres and so yeah 17" isn't going to happen any time soon. The alloys are from a T25 Forrester if that makes any difference. Thanks in advance, boys.
  11. Cheers man, appreciate the help. This is okay for a WOF, right?
  12. Well, I'm a Brit which I'm told is even worse than a jaffa so it's all good hehe
  13. Hey, thanks for the quick replies. Is this a case of all muffler shops are pretty much the same or are there any you'd recommend in the Auckland area? What does putting the exhaust flap on a switch mean and is it WOF-friendly? You can probably tell I'm pretty new at this
  14. Hi all, Is it possible to get a muffler for a BH Legacy GTB that adds more rumble without being overly loud? Any recommendations or is this a waste of time and only done by 17 year olds who hang out at McDonalds with their 'pimp rides'? Sorry if this has been asked before but I'm new and couldn't find much using Search.
