hey im looking for some body to recon my motor im sik of 2nd engines They never get me far. I live in the wellington area and the only place i can Seem to find is custom works in the hutt, has any body got work done there? On trademe they hve a short block rebuild kit for $2500 is tht anygood?i dont Think that includes the heads getting freshend upshuld i get them done aswell Im new To the rebuild game,any advise would b great my budgets about 2,5 3k! Im not chasing big power i js want relibility and the odd thrash with no worrys in My mind cos the motor is rebuilt. my cars a 2000 gc8. Ra limited. Cheers Anil

hey i was just wondering is there anybody out there that has converted a outback ?to turbo:? it should be pretty simple just run a gtb bh5 loom in it and do the single turbo conversion.. i dunno i jus think it would be a cool idea i havnt seen one turbo 1999 outback in wellington!!!! let a lone anywhere.

no diffrence in them ive got a factory down pipe v3 to v4

hey guys its lik somethings raping all my boost b4 it gets to tha turbo!!! myb a exhaust leak some where im not to sure !! if i take the hose off the wastegate and turbo it still wont free boost lik the most psi i can get out of it is 8 with a tap and without a tap and with no hoses connected!!! ill take a vid todae and post it up .. chur

hey guys and gals!!! just wondering is a sti fuel pump out of a v3 v4 tha same as a 1996 gtb factory fuel pump??ive converted my gtb to single turbo set up and i was thinkn wood it mke a diffrence?? cheers Anil

yeah it has a spliter in it .. the noise satred when i put the down pipe on .. myb ill put my facetory wun bak on and see if it makes a diffrence ..this prob is duin my head in i js want to boost propely damit... any body keen on a swap of a deal ??

starts whislting as im driving like even when im not on boost?? and when i turn the car off i can here the turbo whinding down quite loud?? wood that be the start of a screwd turbo?? i hope not.. does anybody no anyone in the wgtn area that wood be keen to check out my car ?? im stumped as where to go from here .. what will a leaking uppipe do?? whats the symptoms ?? also could it be like that because of my siamese downpipe?? :-*

my boost gauge is in psi

im running factory air box, i took the intercooler off yestdae and bov and cleaned and gooed it all up still have a the same prob . i replaced the intake pipe from the turbo to airbox so i no tthats no leaking , how can i find out if its a exhauust leak? ill post some pics up soon of my engine bay and the car chur.

yup 3 plug sti ra ecu .. it sounds like its whistling more than it shuld be. wood a exhust leak cause tht??

ive got a boost gauge wot shuld read at idel? mine vacing bout 17 18 does tht sound right?
