At the end of the day even if it has a new turbo and fresh cambelt, it is still an auto forester with 280,000 ks....
~$100-400 for the turbo depending which turbo and condition.
~$500-600 for cambelt kit or ~$1000-1100 for a workshop to do it.
This forester apparently needs a new turbo and cambelt, what would a second hand turbo for this cost, would it need a tune and what other costs would there be? Also what will a cambelt cost and is it easy to install yourself on a Subaru?
looking for a bit of a project car atm (not necessarily Subaru, just any car) but working on a Subaru would be good experience.
I highly doubt I will end up getting this car (prob couldn't make any money fixing it or anything) im just interested.
