Im pretty sure you can actually buy the units that regas them yourself now so there are several enterprising types starting up their own "come to you" business.

I think i have found one here in chch so i might give him a call. What was the name of the company you used out of interest Smurff?

Might pull the old "Fark i got it done in Akl by Xxxxxx company for $40" line.

Personally i had expected it to be around $150 ish!

#&^@%#^%*%&^$@#&^*(*@)!!

I searched for ages for the best price and paid close to $200 by the time they came out and did the job :(

If you find the info, should definately post it up and make it sticky for future use!

I paid around that for mine the last time..

I think added $20 on top of that for the dyed variety because of suspected (now confirmed) leak.

Quoted 90 bux to replace the hose from the pump to the condenser.

Then having to spend more on regas-ing on top of that.. ><

Personally i dont mind the driving with the windows down!

Plus you get a tanned right arm.

But when most of the trip will be at around 100km/h with infant in the back......driving with windows down the whole way isnt really an option.

Cheers.

$40 is very very cheap!

If you do if your self you run the risk of over filling the system and then you will get "slugging" which will make the pump die

He has rung back and was pretty positive!

The mighty Bighorn is a 92 and thus could possibly have the old type of gas in it thus costing a fortune to sort.

He reckons its prob already been sorted and can fix for a lot less.

Gonna have a gander at it free of charge tonight and regas for $80-$90 for me if that is feasible (ie its already been converted etc etc).

Thanks for the tip B4 2000

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
