I'm not very skilled but I love the lil back road from wanganui>westmere school and either heading up tayforth road or down and out past Kai iwi, got it down now! I'm easy though,as long as I hear my car roar on the down changes it's a beautiful drive wherever I am :D

Drive out to Mowhanau beach is nice. Nice BBQ's out there or at Basin Reserve. Go past out to Ototoka Beach, nice little drive (unsealed thou) then back down Ka iwi Valley road.

south island inland Kaikoura road, this road was the high light of our south island trip, Hanmer to Kaikoura and

north island gentle annie even when it was gravel and just as good in tarmac form

Kaikoura to Hanmer FTW.

Did it in a 1991 non-fuel injected 1.6L corolla sedan. Scared brand new SUV's into pulling over to let me past because old people can't drive. Lulz were had. :D

Yep Pyes Pa road is awesome too, found that recently.

And ototoka Beach is an ok drive but its kind of short. You can link up off of Kai iwi Valley road around on to brunswick ( I think it is) by taking the turn off just past the Kai iwi township, it loops right back up and around to Wanganui via the statehighway or down through Kaikokopu road, or also can go down through another road (name escapes me again) that brings you out mid Aramoho.

also Whare Flat road, where i learnt to drive. ;D

Its a stage of the Rally Of Otago and a CS Dunedin regular back in the day.

dosent look much on a map, but its amazing in person, if you take the extreme inside line you may as well drive off a cliff...

Plenty of good ones already been mentioned - Chaslands highway through the Catlins, Haast Pass and West Coast, Milford Road, Lindis Pass etc...

Highcliff used to be fun but seems a lot bumpier these days and always full of cyclists and tourist buses... come to think of it the buses are probably the reason the road is rougher. For Dunedinites George King Memorial Drive (out near Outram) is really nice.

Moa Flat road (Heriot to Ettrick) is pretty sweet but shhh keep it quiet.

Gravel-wise there is always Taieri Beach, Backline Rd and more others than I can count.

But I think the single most entertaining road I've ever driven, is this one:

The forgotten world highway between Stratford and Taumarunui. If you want to test how well your car will go round a corner this is the place to do it, it's the only place I know of with 10kmhr corners.

yea they are good roads out there, but u want to do the gravel roads are heaps better cos i used to lived out there and have family there to,so if u wanna go on a road trip then on to taumarunui and beyond let me know lol

I feel an oncoming fail-train - FUN police will be all over this like white on rice

Paekock hill Kapiti

Saddle Road Manawatu

Vinegar Hill to Fielding

Rimataka's were cool

As long as it stays about the Road/drive/view should be find..... (but hey this is CS....)

Parapara's (wanganui to Raetihi) SH4

Rotorua to Kawerau SH30

Broadlands Rd

Goudies Rd

The Ski feild roads going up Mt Ruapehu (best views on clear sunny day)

Rotorua to kawerau is deff very good once you get to the rotoma cut, but lately they have widened sections and taken the fun out of some of it.

also manawahe rd is very good (used as a stage of targa rotorua)

i cant remember the name of the road but one of the roads out to the spectator point on the first day of the 2008 rallly NZ was epic somewhere out in the waikato

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
