twisted turbo setups

so iv seen a few of them around lately on some random subarus,does any company stock twisted setup to suite vf seris turbos?

i know id need upipe to match twisted flange and downpipe to suite.

are most of them custom made or ssold somewere.

I think Rage does make up/down pipes to twist suby setups

Just go to any exhaust shop (pitstop, magoo or any of the others) and look up Rage catalog.

Me too, ended up cheaper than the rage system and I ran an external gate that the rage kit didnt cater for.

it'll cost about 1500-2000 to get one custom made. you can buy flange adapters off trademe, that's gotta be the easiest way, and then just get a downpipe made

Ran a rage one, but got told to change as the angle of turbo was too steep.

Alot of turbos won't handle being too far off horizontal as it messes with the oil seals. Yet alot of twisted turbo setups put the turbo on a big downwards angle.

also have a twisted set up......got the twisted up pipe (with external flange) off here for cheap (i thought).......

still need to get my down pipe made up and just hook up the catch can and done.....but so far its only cost me $140........

there's a good $500 in materials (piping, flanges, gaskets, oil feed line and fittings)

and a s*** load of labour (strip current turbo setup, make downpipe, make up-pipe, make intake pipe, refit all parts)

Yeah what Sultan said. You try making a living of doing stuff like twisted turbo's and see how much you charge to make one The hours to set them up are huge. I don't even like making them for my own car
