intake diameter

the stock intake pipe on a v7 seems to be 3 inch internal diameter..

what sorta approx power will that choke at?

just wondering thats all... :)

what abt fmic piping - in a kit i see some of the pipes like 2 inch - how much will they flow?

std interccoler outlet is 64mm (2-1/2" ID )

std throttle body and intake manifold is 60mm (2-5/16')

std throttle is the main choke point in the pressure side of turbo

Oiled up intercoolers either TMIC or FMIC cause pressure drop above normal values

i didnt expect it to max so soon..

how abt the ppl who run 240kw on stock maf?

do they re calberate the maf or something?

dam 220 to get max outs the maf is dam sight lower than i thought ... >:(

will log maf and see what i get ..be interesting to see...

220kw is getting close to maxing out, it can do more. Like you said 240kw is possible but I have not seen a V7 put out this much on the stock turbo. Also, the stock MAF calibration is pretty rough, so you can pick up a little extra head room by getting the MAF calibrated properly.

thats about right! i got 219kw would had more but my MAF ran out it was way too small so STM couldnt get more boost... ended up with only 15.6psi peak, i wanted to run 22psi... i got the my MAF machined out to about 71mm, just saving up money to get another tune

note: you can not run larger MAF pipe with standard ecu unless its tuned for it it runs like really rough if you do

Simply cos wana keep as much bits stock as I can and only upgrade the needed bits

I mean if a stock part is ok to do then wana keep it and only change if it's maxed out

Yea its just strange how sme Ppl seem to have 240kw and then max

Gotta research more

Does anyone know if a v3 Sti orange afm is same diameter as a v7 afm ???

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
