put cooler where rad is . move rad back .change piping

also push fans = fail

also pull the sticker off the rad cap . makes it look like 4% less DSR spec lol

I dont think its a drag car? looks more like a Drift set up to me and TBH a drift vehicle takes some of the biggest thrashings a vehicle can take! Being on Rev limiter for long periods of time aint easy on any motor!

It\'s a drift car and my god does it do its purpose well

I didn\'t want to go vee mount - it\'s alot of fucking around for something that doesn\'t work very effective - mainly the radiator - not enough flow overheats easily - done a bit of r&d and nah not worth it

Push fans are very effective - have tried all sorts of fan setups - and this setup is by far the best - and yes it\'s basically only used between 5000-7000 rpm so it does get a beating

The whole front end is custom made - u can\'t see much of the Tube frame in that pic - but I could have mounted anything where I wanted it - all I ever had trouble with was the front mount being too low - hitting trailers / ripple strips etc -where it is now is perfect - and didn\'t want to move radiator back because where it is makes it super easy to work on the engine - lots and lots and lots of room

End of the day it\'s built to drift - nothing else - function was allways thought of over form - hell only cleaned it up real pretty to show off at the Nats

Anyone who says drift is lame go as a passenger with someone good and you\'ll appreciate it. As much as I hate the "scene" around it, the grassroots sport as such is just taking the supermarket carpark skids we all did once upon a time to a much more impressive level, and is awesome for it.

If you think drag racing is boring try riding in something which can wheelstand, or smoke up half the track. As a spectator I\'m much happier on an embankment in the sun than standing around a pine plantation anyday.

Cars in general = just awesome. I have as much respect for someone pouring a thousand man hours into a low riding hilux, or some kid learning how to rebuild a 4k from a textbook, as I do someone who\'s forking out the GDP of a small country on some bespoke race car they call an advertising write off for their IT firm.

Back on topic that is a sweet silvia btw - looks like a real pro build, hard to believe it\'s a DIY job (if you can call it that)
