Single turbo- just taking forever, and repaired whilst converting.- and getting some cool parts- like the v7 intercooler, though I may have to get a silicon y-pipe to fit onto the td05h. or just a peice of hose and clamp over both.

done, although I may redo the airbox bit

please note, GC8 with V8 spec c manifold, direct spark conversion and top fed with bling rails and firesleeved pushloc hose, also running 11mm pheonolic spacers so the manifold sits quite high

did you try flipping the manifold while it was all apart? when i was doing mine i wondered about trying to flip a v7- mani to see if the intake would fit under it. The alternator drops low enough for the piping to go over top on the v7- too.

Looking at doing cop with v7- mani anyway to get my piping to sit lower it just scrapes the bonnet. I know who to ask when i get there now :D

Are the spacers for heatsoak or to fit larger intake?

Looks so tidy man good work.

Spacers are just for heatsoak, still running stock front cover on the turbo, but plenty of room to run a 3 inch intake.

Didn't want the drama of flipping the manifold, running spacers I would have clearance issues with the throttle body, I already had to trim a little slot of my bonnet framework for the idle solenoid and trim 5mm off the top tank mounts so I could close the bonnet.

IMO shorter pipework doesn't make that much difference, kind of wanted to see how well I could get the factory orientation working just to show you dont need to go rotated turbo, external wastegate, headers or flipped manifold to get good results.

Hopefully getting dyno'd with in the next 6 weeks or so, just putting some km's on the new engine first

a lot of people in america flip with 8mm spacers max i think but also in v7- so not sure if bonnet clearance is still an issue. Spacers arent actually required v7- though.

Everyone seems split 50/50 on whether it makes a difference but ive seen one test that showed a foot long pipe direct from turbo to tb back to back with massive front mount with no difference. I just went that way to clean up the bay and coz everyone said it was impossible :D

Looks very tidy though man. you dont have a garage thread do you?

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
