flipping the manifold

negative..actually bought it off a guy from vegas who had it for about 4 years..

Was all forgd out and had a big garret of some sort before brad bought ,twisted turbo, flipped mani, possum link, forged out, wastegate etc, complete with cut springs haha

I'll have a closer inspection, my tank had always been in that position since I purchased it many a year ago. My mechanic Tony at RDL performance also flipped it for me, so I'll give him a buzz on tuesday on his exact methods with this one when I get my car back from tuning.

i did a straight flip with my v3 manifold and put x2 sets of the gizzmo phenolic gaskets which lifts the manifold 6mm so as to clear the p/s reservior and prevents heat soak through to the manifold. just cut a few bits off the alloy alt/air con bracket and flip the alternator straight over to where the a/c pump was, then all you have to do is make a small adjuster bracket for it. a good time to do a parrallel fuel set-up while you are at it. by doing that and flipping the fmic so that the inlets are up the top i shortened a huge amount of pipework out of the car. you will need a new 5pk1105 belt if running standard pulleys or i my case a 5pk1045 if running gfb pulleys.

flipped my alt today.....i tried the 5pk1105 belt with standard pulleys and it was too small ???, ended up using belt # 5pk1220.....

Hi funkytown unsure what your meaning, are you saying if I have a twin parrellal setup I can use single turbo ecu's?

Might have been reading between lines or just getting over Monday blues and not reading it right :(

yes if both turbos are the same and running identical boost then as far as the ecu is concerned it just boost.

same as having a single turbo really

was wondering with a v3/4 intake manifold that has been cut and welded instead of flipping are there any other things u need to change i know the alternator has to be moved and a pulley put in place for the belt.

also does anyone have any better pictures of the front facing setup need to sort out how to do the alternator bracket etc.

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
