Wanted to share this today, Factory engine, Factory turbos etc. ;D

It's that new super octane stuff, Only uses 1L per 10,000km.

But seriously the gauge just has a bad contact and sometimes reads empty briefly, Haven't been bothered to pull it to bits yet.

how many of those K's have you done in what time frame nick?

i haven't quite cracked doing 50,000k's myself in the 12.5 years ive had mine & it's just over half of those yours has, thats not a bad effort for a 10 year old subaru

I got the car 4 years ago and it was at 170k then.

None of the documentation I got from the history of the car indicated any major overhaul work of any of the turbos or engine etc.

Just been well looked after and serviced regularly and not thrashed constantly.

It's actually running better now than it did when I got it.

It also gets allot of hot running, I take it on a road trip every couple of months if I can to keep everything hot and running nicely.

Shit, I had mine for only just over a year and done nearly 40k. Got it with 60k on the clock.

Id be confident in buying another one knowing that they can last this long when looked after

Yeah that's it, I've had no issues with mine at all engine wise. Just had cambelt done recently and regular services. Its like anything though, if you look after it you can generally increase the life of something.

They can be bloody good, my forrie has just ticked over 200k and reading through the servicing info, everything is still original, un mollested from the factory

My VZ-R hit 306,666 k's, only had piston slap.
