Um... Almost 5 years of ownership and I really dont know. Not including consumables, I guess around 15k, probably more but that includes a fully forged engine done the expensive way because I didnt know any better.

Legacy cost me 4 i think and I\'ve prob spent a grand on it? (once adding up things bought/sold)

I never keep a car long enough to sink big money into it and to a degree will do 90% of things myself / second hand

Plus I have no money to sink into one either... So there\'s that aspect to things

Spent 3.5k buying it and then over the next 8 years I filled a shoebox with receipts before deciding i didn\'t want to know the total anymore. Since then its had its second forged motor (which is about the fifth or sixth motor its had, the first forged one lasted about 80k kms before I got stupid with turbos and pushed it too far).

It\'s taught me alot over those years though and I\'d spend it all again.

Most of the money was spent in the pursuit of speed and wear and tear from trackdays.

Exactly as it sits now excluding parts I\'ve had and sold/not using, been given or used leftovers from past cars/projects, wof/reg, and maintenance e.g. cam belt and 5x oil changes so far etc etc

It probably owes me ~7.5-8k including the cost of the car? depressing cause I couldn\'t sell it for that..

Owned car for about 5months and spent around 6k on it, new manifold, ic piping, engine oit and checked over, and a tune. Easy way to spend money :-\

Ive done pretty much everything myself and for nix through hook ups/mates. Working in automotive with wholesale accounts everywhere made timing/rebuild hell cheap. Only thing Ive really spent big money on is rims/g4 and tune.

done all the work myself (bar the engine rebuild) buy and sell bits to keep cash flowing, always haggle with prices

Current car just purchase price and servicing costs, I know my Nissan 180SX ended up oweing me over $20K but at the end of the day it\'s a hobbie. Between cars and motox it\'s a good way to stay broke but what else would you spend your money on.

I mean some people have push bikes worth $20k or more, or do sea fishing $100k or more. So cars are cheap in the scheme of things.

Its like most things though as long as you can afford it, thats the main thing.
