boost vac lines setup on v3/4

running 2 port boost solenoid.

how should i have my boost lines hooked up i have wastegate and turbo nipple tee\'d off going to the middle port on boost soelnoid.

the bottom port on boost solenoid is going to intake pipe .

Map sensor going to manifold nipple.

only getting around 0.7 bar.

Not sure how much,people just tend to make them,

There are hory ways too do it but wouldnt advise doing it

Such as using a 3 way plastic tee piece and hooking up the turbo side and other on the actuater and leave the other one bleeding off,trick is to use a lighter and burn the size of the hole that is bleeding air smaller to your desired boost,it does work and holds boost fine from what iv seen,i guess its a 2$ boost tap they both do the same thing haha

But as i said wouldnt advise it and is abit hory haha. 😂

like does it work on the smaller the hole the more boost?

ive also heard theres restrictors in the TT setup on primary turbo to wasgate that have 0.8mm hole restrictor pills

On my car (v3 sti) a 0.9mm restrictor pill gives me 18psi and drops to 16psi after 6k.

Have tried 0.8 and 1mm too, 0.8 gave me 19/20psi but seeed to drop back further to 14/15psi, felt slower. 1mm if I remember right gave me just over 10psi.

Boost with solenoid is laggier, get a cheap boost tap and be relatively smart with it

so i got a restrictor pill from a TT legacy at wreckers and im sure its a 0.8mm put that in and took for a boost running a solid 14psi feels really nice will invest in a EBC at some stage
