if it has fouled again how did i clean them and what if it just does it again lol

I give mine a gentle wire brush or slide a piece of wet & dry through the gap, then spray with WD40 and wipe with a rag.

A plastic bread tag is 0.8mm, check your gaps with one. But chances are your plugs aren\'t the issue so they will foul again.

AFM dodgy or bung coil packs?

just check coils when replaced plugs one coilpack was cracked and broken replaced it all good.

and ive sprayed afm with afm cleaner lol.

If one coil pack was bad the rest cant be far behind. But it\'s running pretty rich to foul the new plugs that quick, maybe worth trying a different AFM. Did you fit a boost guage?

yeah green afm label.

got boost gauge in its runing 10psi but sometimes it hits 12psi and 11psi lol.

apparently they replaced 1 coil before i got and now ive replaced one and they all looked reasonably good when i changed plugs

vaccums -11 on idle -13 on deceleration

not sure it doesnt say lmao... its electronic. ive teed the map sensor line to the boost gauge theres no leaks at all.

been over and over engine bay.

Holding steady or fluctuating?

it holds -11 steady on idle no fluctuation. no rough idle.

on boost it hits 10psi and holds sometimes goes up to 11-12psi and drops back off to 10

nah but it defintely idles all good think the gauge reads only in PSI.

and after another drive it does fluctuate from -10 to -11.

it sometimes hesitates and other times its fine.

lol soo some search brought me to -20hg roughly is wat it should idle at on vac.

and converting -10psi to hg is -20hg so sounds about right.

sooo i needa try another Afm and check plugs again and re check coils as one may of gone sour on me hopefully not the case

i think ive done pretty well considering ive done three twinturbo to singleturbo conversions all the mechanical work .

all the rewiring myself mulitple engine transplants and clutch replacements and had no issues after doing the work myself.

look through my posts and you\'ll see the projects ive done.

not a mechanic but ive done well for being self taught with good advice from members on here

thanks roo yeah 2 years ago all i knew about cars was you put petrol in them haha.

now i love working on subarus and thanks to a whole bunch o guys on here i wouldnt have been able to do the things ive done and learnt the things i have.

Also a big learning curve in the world of swearing thrown in there amongst the blood and tears.

Couple of years ago I was never gonna own a sub but hell theyre pretty awesome in their own right when you get into them and pretty damn easy to work on imo.
