Stubborn CV wont come out

any good methods on how to get a cv out lol.

Bigger hammer? Have you got a crow bar/lever you can get behind with? Best way is to lever it and give it a shock with a hammer to break it free. Make sure you grease up the splines before you put your replacements in

not looking good my replacements were fine but one of them has popped out inside the cv boot lol they came in hubs and was a frikin prick to get out.

its just my outer boots the ones closest to the hub have no boots theyre buggerd to fckery lol and i dinted the top of one of the CV joint replacments and the nut wont go back on.

mite have to grind the lips off but scared to use a grinder hahaha

the other replacement cv is worse lol its still stuck in the hub and wont come out and has a a very very dinted end and will need grinding as well

ive heard that if you crack the nuts loose then go for a drive that can loosen them up . but your past that point now as they wont come out of the hub without being grinded

only my replacents wont come out yet lol theyre in hubs my cvs in car havent touched yet

oh dear they will probably need to be cleaned up and pressed out then . sounds like previous owner had a good go also

put the hub / cv in a big vice, heat + hammer + some pressure and itl give

how do i pop a cv back in inside the boot?

Prob too late but grab bigges hamner you can find and a small square of wood (to not mushroom anything). Loosen hub nut so its still on a few turns. Place wood on nut and give it a couple of good belts

not to late havent attempt my cvs in car yet and my replacements are buggerd so i got some more... gunna try again tomorrow

well that helped heaps im not gunna use that cv lol i think its slipped out inside and will have to take boot off.

i got another two cvs i just gotta get them out of the hubs without damaging them

They slip back and forth as susp height changes so do feel lose? Just pull boot back and check easy enough to do. If it pulls right out of cup then circlip has gone walkabout.

in all seriousness it would appear you a touch out of your depth and should have someone that knows what they are looking at irl eye ball your project.
