It will probably be the front one. The code may not mean the O2 sensor is crook though. There may have been a misfire, or the sensor got drowned in a puddle of water and got too cold to read correctly, and so the code gets set.

The trouble codes are only indicators, they always need checking against the circumstances and diagnosis carefully.

If you use two regular sewing pins or needles you can back probe the connector plug of the O2 sensor and then use a volt gauge to test the sensor while the car is running.. or, connect a laptop or scanner and read what the O2 sensor is doing while the car is running.

There should be a different code for each sensor if there\'s 2. i.e:

P0136 O2 Bank 1 Sensor 2

P0131 O2 Bank 1 Sensor 1

Are you sure ones not a Cat temp sensor or something else?

when we got it checked all i can remember coming up was heater sensor or something on the computer, we cleared it then it came back on again while the car was running. this was done by a auto electrican, he couldnt tell me which one it was. theres one on the downpipe for the 2nd or 1st turbo and one just before the cat from what i remember

I would re-check codes to make sure, but yip That\'ll be it.

Edit: That\'s for CEL code 31. The rear O2 Sensor should be CEL code 36 which is post Cat. An A/F reading too far apart between these 2 Sensors will trip another CEL again (Maybe an Air/Fuel Ratio CEL or Cat Fault CEL).

Editit: Thinking about it the Rear O2 Sensor might be in your Exhaust Y pipe where both Down Pipes meet (Rev C/D. I only have one O2 AFAIK (Rev B).

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
