Identify this exhaust ???

Does any one know what this exhaust is? all I could make out is it looks like it says pro racer on the tip, but have never seen a twin mid pipe exhaust like that for the v7/GDB wrx/STi? apparently that is what it is out of, any one know who made an exhaust like that?

It looks like one that pappu was going to sell me. He said it was a fujitsubo exhaust

Seen it on TM too and got a bit curious too (not that I need one).

Doesn't look like Fujitsubo, ask the seller if it's got any writings on it or a Jasma plate with some number, that might help. If there is nothing then it is most likely someone's DIY project.

yeah i know right, I do not know of any manufacturer that made a single pipe exhaust in to a twin pipe like that, but having said that it looks pretty well made, ie not a cheap exhaust job? yeah but it says pro racer on the tip so its obviously a 5zigen muffler, but having searched a bit more looks like its a home job/custom made

The only twin pipe Subaru mid section I've seen was a K2Gear BL/BP system... and it's not 1-->2-->1

That is weird. Looks like an X pipe after the twin resonators. So 1->2->X->2->1

More or less the only thing I can think of as a reason for doing it?

The muffler design also looks like it would tuck right up into the space behind the bumper.

A Subaru shouldn't be that low anyway, ruins the Subaruyness!

The whole thing is fcking stupid, it's twice the weight for zero gain, unless it maybe makes it sound like something way different (this is very doubtful)

I have wondered what a twin turbo would sound like with a separate zorst all the way to the back off each turbo... civilised primary, dragon coming to eat your babies secondary!

A bit of googling and the claimed reasons are "Dual Layout: Dual tube design instead of expanding main pipe diameter, avoids torque loss, increases throttle response, and provide enough muffler height clearance from the ground."

Apparently it also has a nice deep sound.
