As you are all aware Flatnats 16 is fast approaching and accommodation/travel is already being booked now. This event last year was huge and for the people that didn't come you all can see what you missed out on the new Flatnats page www.flatnats.nz.

At the moment I'm looking to organize a meet for anyone interested in coming to flatnats 16 and talk about how and where you can stay and to gauge general interest. Christchurch turnout last year was going to be high, but we only had 1 car, yes that was me.

Im seeing a lot of interested people from Christchuch on forums/facebook which is really good to see.

At this stage March 13th, 7pm, Burgerfuel Airport is where we will hold it. I will be talking to Management about using there car park and having it blocked off just for Subarus as its a very good photo opportunity.

With a months notice it should be enough time for most people.

This meet is not limited to just people that are going to flatnats anyone is invited, it will just be a topic of discussion that we will be going over.

is it 'ok' to create a FB 'event' for this or is Chch a risk area like Akl (hence we dont do 'events' for that part of the hood)

wouldn't want 10k people hitting 'attending' etc

If CS would like to do a event for this please do. There is enough parking for alot of people and Im sure that they will have no issue with more people.

You dont need to be going to flatnats to come to this meet, its just easier to talk about it in person in one places at one time. All are welcome to this even your mum and nana.

As you know Bluebridge are now sponsoring Flatnats 16!!!

So they have given Flatnats a voucher to discount your trip to the north with them in September!

All you have to do is come to the Meet on the 13th of March and buy a BIG burger (remember that when you buy a big burger and mention that you with Flatnats that you get free fries or a shake) just use your receipt and put your details on the back and your in the draw to win.

Draw will be done on the night!
