Underseat Sub

Anyone here running an underseat sub? Preferably not a factory one. Am in the market for one for WRX to get a some mid to low bass but I'm not sure what to look for/brands to look for.

I've had a Fusion 8" fitted for a couple of years, no complaints:

I have a fusion and a soundstream 8 inch which are basically the same unit as the one pictured in Rosssub's post. One of them is under the passenger seat of the WRX and makes a decent improvement. I had the other one in my old legacy and it sounded good too. You wont get window rattling bass out of them but they fill in the lower frequencies well and allow the rest of the speakers to stick to the mids and highs, which gave me better sound quality once set up.. In the legacy I liken it to a well sorted amplified component setup and in the WRX it seems to pump a bit more.

I am in CHCH if you would like to see just how they go.

I may have to pop in one day and have a quick listen.

I was planning on avoiding Fusion, primarily due to the fact I've never really heard good things about them.. Soundstream I remember being popular in my teens, but I don't hear much from them these days.

Yep I run a soundstream one in the legacy and a fusion one in the Mrs familia, and I think both sound decent.

Mainly because I forgot what you guys recommended and figured I would get something better than a Fusion

The install was very painless and I'm super happy with how it sounds
